YESing? WTF?

So the WWE is turning YESing to the next Tebowing or Planking craze... So does anybody have pics on this yet... I may do this at a school faculty meeting, or a parent teacher conference. I havent decided yet...

What about you guys.

Supreme Olajuwon 04-24-2012 08:50 PM

I knew they'd find a way to ruin it.

GD 04-24-2012 09:11 PM

God dammit!

Purgatory 04-24-2012 09:31 PM

See? They inadvertently started a craze. Now they've got poor Daniel Bryan trying to sell himself as a heel, but the crowd isn't buying it as well as they wanted.

#1-norm-fan 04-24-2012 10:50 PM

lol. Poor Daniel Bryan. Like he can't stop saying "Yes!" if he wants to.

Shadrick 04-24-2012 11:34 PM

HE cant....

#1-norm-fan 04-24-2012 11:35 PM

lol... does he have tourettes?

Heisenberg 04-25-2012 12:15 PM

YES!

Gertner 04-25-2012 12:39 PM

Pretty much proves he's just a gimmick. Vanilla midget certified.

Wake Up Call 04-25-2012 08:00 PM

The fact Daniel Bryan is a world champion, and guys like Perfect, Rick Rude, Regal, Jake Roberts, and The Million Dollar Man, never got the belt makes me want to vomit.

#1-norm-fan 04-25-2012 08:28 PM

He's good. Great wrestler. Would be awesome as one of those guys putting on stellar midcard matches show after show.

Key word is mid-card. Unless WWE figures out some amazing formula, I gotta agree with Gertner. He just doesn't work for me as a world champion. He's so far from that level.

Mr. Pierre 04-25-2012 09:45 PM

The business is totally different in terms of giving guys the Championship. Since there are two belts, they have a luxury of giving guys test runs. I look at the RAW Championship as "best lead wrestler", and the SD! Championship as "best supporting wrestler", so to speak.

#1-norm-fan 04-25-2012 09:57 PM

You say that as if it's a good thing. The world title being given to a guy as a test run only makes it come off as worthless.

#1-norm-fan 04-25-2012 09:58 PM

They've done it with the Raw title at times too. Punk's first reign, Sheamus' first reign. I'd even argue Miz' reign. I know people here were all for it but he was NOT built up to that point yet. That screamed the same "test run" you're referring to.

#1-norm-fan 04-25-2012 09:59 PM

Oh yeah. And del Rio.

Mr. Pierre 04-25-2012 09:59 PM

Nah, it's definitely bad for the belt lol. But it's definitely a luxury for WWE, knowing that they can give the guy a big gold belt, he can fuckin stink, and it wouldn't hurt as bad because there are two titles.

Mr. Pierre 04-25-2012 10:00 PM

Bad long-term, luxury short-term I guess.

#1-norm-fan 04-25-2012 10:02 PM

Yeah. That's why I can't see them unifying the belts and it's sad. You're trying to give guys test runs with a title that has become a prop for test runs and thus doesn't really do anything to test them... lol

I hear ya man. Fans getting excited is fucking gay.

Raven Reaper 04-26-2012 08:14 PM

Even this rock girl band the Donnas posted this on their official Facebook: "Inspiring word of the the day: YES."

Just because the fans cheer a thing one month or less doesn't mean an instant greenlight.
