Stings ring gear

What was with Sting's gear (his boots in particular) circa 2000 he had stopped wearing gloves and he wore these ugly foot cast looking boots. It really looked like he had taken a pair of black boots and wrapped them in white tape it clashed so badly and looked ridiculous.

Yes, yes, yes!

He went through some random attire changes after the whole nWo thing was over with. He kept the black and white, but it didn't make sense to be totally dark because that wasn't his character anymore. As you can see now, he kept the black and white for the most part, but has added red and other colors to his entrance attire and such.

It was tape. Not sure there was any reason other than maybe trying to vary his look.

I preferred Surfer Sting. Plus adding tape to your boots constantly seems unnecessary and would be a bitch to keep up with.

I liked early Crow Sting. But once he started talking more and went back to normal sting in the Wolfpack, etc, he should have went to an older look. Maybe less flashy than the SGT Peppers stuff.

Lot of damn questions I'd ask about anything in wCw circa 2000, those were some pretty confusing times.

Looking back on 2000 wCw is like looking back at style in the 80s.

Guys, you forget, the basic thought process for DIVH is: Anything in the 80s > now.

That seems more logical.

Hanso Amore 05-10-2012 05:10 PM

Then why wouldnt he tape inside the boot, like every other Wrestler/Athlete/Human?

DaveBrawl 05-10-2012 07:34 PM

He wanted sympathy?
