I think Austin should be a commentator more than anybody. Punk would be good, but he's still got alot of time in the ring left. Who could do it?

Big Vic 05-15-2012 09:41 AM

Heyman and JR were awesome together...maybe striker as the 3rd man would be great too.

taker707 05-15-2012 11:17 AM

punk and nash .

VSG 05-15-2012 11:20 AM

Foley and Mark Henry

PrettyCool 05-15-2012 11:20 AM

Khali and Vladimir Kozlov.

Kozlov : I LOVE DOUBLE E!

Khali : ARGULBAAAAH!

DrCrawford 05-15-2012 12:09 PM

DDP, Raven and Scott Steiner. One of those is just for giggles.

Nicky Fives 05-15-2012 02:42 PM

Raven & Nash come immediately to mind.....

Razzamajazz 05-15-2012 02:55 PM

tony shavontay, ventura, and heenan

Lock Jaw 05-15-2012 03:14 PM

Matt Striker.

Jordan 05-15-2012 04:00 PM

Tommy Dreamer would be a good color guy

Though I am most excited for Jr and Regal

Mr. Nerfect 05-15-2012 04:31 PM

William Regal and Matt Striker are both better color guys and already working.

Mark Henry really did well when he joined the booth that one time on SmackDown. If his career really is wrapping up, I would not be opposed to seeing him added somewhere as a trial.

Raven is good, and if I were ROH or TNA, I'd be trying to pick him up as a non-wrestling personality. Heyman would also make a great addition to any commentary team.

Emperor Smeat 05-15-2012 04:33 PM

JBL and Regal

Then again keeping Cole and pairing him off with JBL, Striker, Regal or Matthews would be a lot better than Lawler who still doesn't fit well with Cole's style after all these years.

Ruien 05-15-2012 04:45 PM

R-Truth and Cole easy.

Curd 05-15-2012 07:18 PM

Warrior and Sgt. Slaughter

Gertner 05-15-2012 08:36 PM

Cheap Heat.

Maven

Keith 05-17-2012 02:37 AM

CM Punk has already proven he's great at being a commentator, so he should stick around once he retires.

dronepool 05-17-2012 03:10 AM

Foley and CM Punk. Joey Styles and Punk = WIN

XL 05-17-2012 07:00 AM

Old ones. New ones probably still have something to offer in the ring. :shifty:

MoFo 05-17-2012 07:56 AM

Edge, for sure.

Anyone is better than Lawler though.

Zeeboe 05-17-2012 11:12 AM

I always thought Vince McMahon and Bobby Heenan were the best.

Keith 05-17-2012 12:34 PM

Vince McMahon definitely was great, IMO.

RiX1024 05-17-2012 03:16 PM

Defo CM Punk, did a great job as colour commentator. Santino for shits and giggles.

parkmania 05-17-2012 03:56 PM

Punk and Jericho, with or without Matt Striker.

stultiloquy 05-17-2012 04:00 PM

I loved JBL as commentator, he would always put Cole in his place once he started running his mouth. I'd like to see Regal doing commentary as well.

Vastardikai 05-17-2012 06:07 PM

I still think JR and Tazz was an underrated duo.

Rollermacka 05-17-2012 06:12 PM

Scott Steiner and R Truth. They would be hillarious together

Turn into NXT and get Regal and JR. Not a bad team.

Mr. Nerfect 05-18-2012 09:01 PM

When CM Punk retires, he should be the color commentator for the WWE.

Mr. Nerfect 05-18-2012 09:01 PM

If he's ever injured for a PPV, he should do commentary on them, too.

If Steiner is allowed to talk shit like he's good at and Truth is allowed to be as psychotic as he was, I think that would actually work pretty good.

Gertner 05-19-2012 11:14 AM

Regal is pretty shitty at times on commentary.
