FOLEY TO WRESTLE IN JAPAN!!!
 

Bill Goldberg has pulled out of the Triple Crown championship match against Toshiaki Kawada on May 8, apparently due to an injury.

Mick Foley is now scheduled to take Goldberg's place. This will be Foley's first return to the ring in Japan since 1996 when he wrestled as Cactus Jack. Foley is in Tokyo, Japan right now preparing for his match. Mick is not believed to be under WWE contract at the moment thus making him available to appear anywhere he wants.

Also shcedlued to appear at the HUSTLE-3 event are the Outsiders, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall. They were revealed as the mystery opponents for Shinya Hashimoto and Naoya Ogawa. They are also already in Tokyo getting ready for their match.

Hell yeah, thats awesome, Foley is God. I wouldn't mind seeing the Outsiders again either, maybe Scott Hall will vomit on a fan before entering the ring.

Kick ass. Foley/Kawada oughta be a thousand times better than anything Goldberg can bring to the table. I mean, yeah, I don't want to sound like a dick for celebrating the guy's injury, but this is what I call making the best of a bad situation.

Anyone have any idea where I might see this card in the states? PPV? Satellite channel?

Well they are hardly gonna put the Triple Crown on someone who doesn't have a contract in the company.

Is this for real? If so then :drool: I just hope Foley doesn't get hurt. But I'm sure he knows what he's doing.

Obviously... I'm just a Kawada mark, what can I say??? I dunno though, I don't see Foley getting MAJOR offense in.... I think Foley is basically going to be a punching bag for Kawada.

Foley doesn't want to sign a contract. WWE would take cuts from his book deals and he has no reason to be on their TV promoting non wrestling related products.

Personally, I would have LOVED to see Kawada kick Goldberg's teeth down his throat.

They probably would have put the Triple Crown on Goldberg since he has some form of contract.

Can anyone fill me in on just why the floors are sticky because of the Kawada guy?

What was the story with taka leaving wwe anyway? Though i cant say i blame him, that "indeed" bollocks and him and funaki geting flung about for 2 minute matches when they actually had the opportunity to be on tv sucked royally. Thought he signed a 10 year contract with wwe though...

Umm failing that whats the reason? Seems a pretty odd thing to do.

Well if someone was gonna pay me something in the region of $200,000 for one nights work then I'd go back even if I hated it.
