TPWW's Greatest Wrestler Ever Tournament - Preliminary Round
 

Time to start the tournament to determine who TPWW considers as the greatest wrestler ever.

Since there were an uneven amount of nominees made, first round is the preliminary round or the "unwashed masses" round to borrow a phrase from Damien Sandow.

Only 1 wrestler moves on from this round with the poll staying open for the next 3 days.

Not to be a dick, but Kip James and Billy Gunn are the same person.

Kip James was his name in TNA; therefore, only about 10% of the people who watch wrestling would know this.

I only see one legitimate name here that even comes close to being the best ever.....

Kobashi is dq'd for being a Jap.

Kobashi for being a legend in Japan.

Yeah there was a couple of nominations like that such as Goldust, Seven, and Black Reign getting nominated so I just put Goldust in the bracket and left the other 2 to be voted on for this round.


It gets a lot better next round since this one is more about finding who gets to be the 64th guy in the bracket.

I'll vote Billy Gunn, to appease Iggy and get free rep!

I wanted to vote for Alex Shelley, but I think Jeff Hardy has accomplished the most out of anyone on that list (besides Kenta, I guess, but I've never seen a single match of his).

I love Billy Gunn as much as the next guy, but I still voted for Jeff Hardy...... It could be argued that without him, there would be no Edge or Christian..... the 4 of them put each other on the map.....

WITHOUT BILLY GUNN THERE WOULD BE NO LIFE WORTH LIVING.
