**SD Spoilers**

I didn't see the match so I don't know how she won.

(PS those of the chosen few click the link in my sig)

big_bluto 05-06-2004 08:12 PM

*THUD*
Bluto lands firmly in the ambivalence camp.

No. He and the entire CW division have been officially buried alive, and since they don't have the Undertaker's powers, they won't be able to come back. :( :wavesad:

Nowhere Man 05-06-2004 09:44 PM

Nope. Even another Mysterio title run wouldn't help the C-W division now. Chavo and the rest of the cruisers are dead.

Batsu 05-06-2004 09:52 PM

Even though he hardly ever defended the belt, and had to mess around in the ring with Lita a few times, the end of Dean Malenko's WWE run had more dignity than this.

The only thing that can happen to save this is if the GM goes and pulls an "HHH" and says this match never happened, therefore awarding the title back to Chavo.

Unless Angle has an amnesia gun to use on the crowd that would take the belt down a bigger notch

Gone Mad 05-07-2004 12:17 AM

All we can blame this decision on is Stephanie McMahon who wrote the new opponent in and Bob Holly for ****ing up the original opponent.

Funky Fly 05-07-2004 01:30 AM

By WWE standards, yes. In real life, he'd have more credibility jobbing to a plastic bag.

How so?

If the crowd pops for that decision being reversed...

Stephanie wrote this tripe?!

Who was Chavo's opponent supposed to be?

Bob Holly = steaming pile of horse-sh</>it in the bottom of a bucket that someone crap at wrestling is vomiting into after being that crap at wrestling that they've had to blow Vince, Evolution and eat Linda McMahon.

Right - I'm off for lunch now.

Because if Angle goes out and says that Chavo gets the belt back that totally discredits the title as its saying that Chavo couldn't win it back.

And thats not just because he was facing a girl, had Chavo lost to anybody and just been given the belt back it would have discredited it.

Lamuella 05-07-2004 02:54 PM

Chavo will, hopefully. The belt might not.

Stupid, stupid booking decision.

 and yes.

That title survived Medusa and Oklahoma in the WCW, and will survive Jakie in the WWE.

Every WWE title has one of those "OMG, don't tell me he was champions" guys on the title history, and the belt survived. Example...

World Title = Vince McMahon...
IC Title = Albert/A-Train, Rikishi, Chyna...

Lamuella 05-07-2004 03:15 PM

Madusa and Oklahoma having the belt nearly destroyed its reputation entirely. It took a strin of phenomenal matches from the likes of Rey Jr and Billy Kidman to give anything like credibility back to the belt. Matches we aren't likely to see in WWE.

Loose Cannon 05-07-2004 03:16 PM

Yes. How many wrestling fans will remember Jackie holding the title a couple of months from now? Answer: Very few. I forgot about A-Train holding the I.C. Title until JT mentioned it.

1.) Unless I'm mistaken, the Rey Mysterio/Billy Kidman feud for the title happened before Medusa and Oklahoma.

2.) I think you're kind of laying your point on a bit thick. The title is not going to die because of Jakie, nor it's rep. A few months from now, we will probably have all forgotten that she had the title to begin with.

Savio 05-07-2004 04:40 PM

(Sig fixed BTW) Its only a matter of decades before women take the world title.

Disturbed316 05-07-2004 04:42 PM

Yeah

Gone Mad 05-07-2004 04:50 PM

For someone who was asking about it before, Matt, the other winner from Tough Enough 3 was supposed to be the challenger. That was until he had a match earlier that week against, who else.. Bob Holly (Matt was the guy that got the crap kicked out of him by Holly on TE3).Matt suffered a concusion I believe so plans changed. Stephanie McMahon gave the idea of using Jackie in his place.

Savio 05-07-2004 05:04 PM

Did bob holly know he was gonna win the title?
