Vader question

I have a question but I haven't found a definitive answer. I have seen the video of Vader breaking the back of one jobber with a powerbomb. I have also heard in another squash match he broke another jobber's neck with a chokeslam. I use a chokeslam but he spikes them on the back of their head/ neck. Did Vader break a man's back, another man's neck, and injure Mick Foley?

DLVH84 06-13-2012 09:06 PM

I think the one that took the chokeslam and the powerbomb was the same guy.

CSL 06-13-2012 09:45 PM

can't blame the Foley one on Vader, he allowed/wanted himself to be powerbombed onto a legit concrete floor (only for WCW to throw away the resulting angle/heat) And the video you saw with the powerbomb was the same match that he gives him the chokeslam, only one "incident"

Triple Naitch 06-13-2012 10:00 PM

If I remember Foley's book right, he blamed losing his ear on the ring ropes being too tight.

In a match with Vader, I believe it was in Germany, Foley got his head caught in the ropes. Getting his head out part of his ear was ripped off.

That was the match where Corey Matthews was giving him advice. Its all Corey's fault.

So how many people has Vader hurt in pro wrestling. I've heard he's broken alot of noses and given alot of black eyes, but what are some of the major injuries he's given guys?

DLVH84 06-22-2012 01:57 PM

Let's see...

Sting - broken ribs and a ruptured spleen
Kensuke Sasaki - busted mouth
Nikita Koloff - broken neck, numb arm, and hernia
Joe Thurman - broken back
Mick Foley - broken nose, concussion, 2 black eyes, 17 stitches, missing ear
Davey Boy Smith - broken nose
Ron Simmons - broken shoulder
Ken Shamrock - internal bleeding

whiteyford 06-22-2012 02:13 PM

The Shamrock one was an ulcer.

CSL 06-22-2012 02:28 PM

also, Koloff's neck wasn't broken, a disc was herniated, which accounts for the said numb arm. And he apparently gave himself the hernia.

Foley's face getting pummeled was the plan that both guys agreed on. The concussion was a result of a powerbomb on concrete that Foley wanted to do. Missing ear basically had nothing to do with Vader at all.

Don't recall him breaking Davey Boy's nose.

And wasn't the extent of Ron Simmon's shoulder injury exaggerated as part of the angle between them?

and lol "busted mouth", come on.

whiteyford 06-22-2012 02:34 PM

Don't really get how broken noses/black eyes can be brought as injuries given Vaders style, not like he was the only guy working stiff in 90% of his matches. The Foley stuff was all on him too, except the ear which was just a fuck up, so i'd strike him from that list completely.

CSL 06-22-2012 02:34 PM

lol nevermind, just found the internet page you got all that "information" from

Razzamajazz 06-22-2012 02:35 PM

there's no doubt he could a bit reckless, especially early in his career but that list makes him look like a proper shitarse

whiteyford 06-22-2012 02:37 PM

I won't hear a bad word about Vader Razzamajazz, if that's even your real name :shifty:

Watching his shoot interview, he was never told how to work, the guys he was getting put against all worked stiff so he did the same, wasn't until a few higher up guys complained someone explained how it worked.

Razzamajazz 06-22-2012 02:40 PM

it's a legit question, dammit!

whiteyford 06-22-2012 02:42 PM

You have made an enemy this day sir....a lazy enemy who will forget all about this by tomorrow, but an enemy none the less:mad:

Vader busted Kensuke Sasaki's mouth during that Lethal Lottery tag match (Sasaki and The Barbarian vs. Vader and Dustin Rhodes) at Starrcade '92 after Sasaki hitting Vader with high-impact one too many times.

At Slamboree '93, Vader broke the British Bulldog's nose during the beatdown.

Vader injured Ron Simmons' shoulder to win his second WCW World title and again before the Thundercage match at the January 1993 Clash of the Champions, forcing Ron to miss the match and his scheduled U.S. title shot against Dustin Rhodes at SuperBrawl III, in which he was replaced by Maxx Payne.

Gertner 06-23-2012 09:55 AM

Simmons was a terrible champ, and black, so good for Vader

Shisen Kopf 06-23-2012 10:33 AM

Ron Simons had no business winning the belt. Worst WCW champ ever. Even after mr courtney cox

a "busted mouth" is not a bastard injury

having just had a quick skim through the Slamboree 93 main, Bulldog's nose looks remarkably fine all the way through for a guy with a broken nose

and you realize the shoulder injury was "capitalized on" to win the belt aka a work? and that when he "injured him again before the Thundercage match" that that was an angle done on TV complete with multiple shoulderbreakers and speculation that he might now miss the match aka a work?

already seen the "article"/page that you got your first post of "information" from, just give it up man
