Robocop reboot
 

I heard that MGM and Sony are working on a reboot of one of my favorite movies growing up...ROBOCOP!!!

So far, Joel Kinnaman ("The Killing") is playing Alex J. Murphy. Gary Oldman ("The Dark Knight Rises") is going to play a scientist that builds Robocop. Samuel L. Jackson ("The Avengers") is going to be a media mogul (a la Mediabreak). And Hugh Laurie ("House") is going to play the rich and evil CEO of Omni Consumer Products (OCP), reminiscent of Ronny Cox's portrayal of Dick Jones.

Its target release date is August 9, 2013.

This has been rumored for a while, actually like the sound of what ive heard, its one of those films that deserves a reboot.

It has a pretty good cast, at least. Love the original, so I will check this out for sure.

Stopped watching after the 3rd one so it cant be all bad.

Good old creatively bankrupt Hollywood.

Flinging a good cast at it, at least.

Least i wont have to choose between this and the latest Twilight.

There's room in your life for both, I'm sure.

If only that were true.

I only watch that one for the comedy.

It's not like you watch them for anything more than to ogle Kristen Stewart. RIGHT???
