My vote goes to Damien Sandow.

Of that list, I think Ryder, Darren Young, Titus and Gabriel have the most potential. Unfortunately, I only see all those guys as midcarders for life. Gabriel has a spot potentially waiting for him as a record-breaking Intercontinental Champion, and Darren could make a great foil for a guy like Justin.

Ryder, unfortunately for him and the Zack Pack, I don't see ever being put in that spot of being "the guy". Will he get a WWE/World Heavyweight Championship reign? Probably. But being "the man"? No. Which is unfortunate, because I like Zack, and respect the fuck out of him making an internet show into a push.

I agree 100% on the Ryder idea but i think he might just have a few US title runs and maybe an IC but he won't get near a WWE/Heavyweight title.

Ryback ain't no bottom feeder. That reminds me, has there been the weekly ryback thread this week?

Somehow.. I knew you would come and post something about Ryback..

He is a bottom feeder the only matches he gets are less than the bottom so in term of the definition bottom feeder Ryback is less than one as the bottom wouldn't be random blowjobbers.

I do like Ryback though.

#1-norm-fan 06-27-2012 01:19 AM

I'm gonna need to hear your definition of bottom feeder.

Also, Johnny Curtis is the goods.

Wishbone 06-27-2012 01:23 AM

Uh... Ryback is a bottom feeder because he's murdering jobbers on a regular basis? Your definition of bottom feeder is completely fucked man seriously. Ryback is being groomed to be the next big thing and the jobber matches are just a way to make him seem even more unbeatable (albeit it would work better with actual names). If all goes well for him and he doesn't break his leg again he'll be main eventing in a year and probably surpass Sheamus on the card.

Wishbone 06-27-2012 01:24 AM

Also Ryder won't get a WWE title run EVER. Maybe a token World title run at some point as a "Thank you ya did good." but he'll never be a serious main eventer.

Exactly what I was saying. Will he ever get a Cena/Punk/Hogan-esque reign with multiple world titles? No chance in hell, but will he get a "Thank you" run? No question, at some point.

Wishbone 06-27-2012 01:26 AM

Actually Sandow, Ryback, and Tensai don't even belong on this list period. The guys are all in fairly good spots at the moment.... well Tensai may be headed to this list actually, but Ryback and Sandow are only on the rise.

someone who only wrestles the guys on the bottom.

#1-norm-fan 06-27-2012 01:28 AM

A "thank you" run with the World or WWE title? I'd say at the very least there is some question. In fact, I see no shot of even that happening. He's just not anywhere near that level and if WWE were gonna start handing out "thank you" runs (Which isn't really something they do or should do with the main event titles) a ton of guys deserve "thank you" runs before him.

Oh.

Well, Jesus. If that's your definition then yeah, Ryback should win this poll by a landslide.

Yeah I do see him having a permanent spot with WWE though similar to what everyone thought Chavo had.

#1-norm-fan 06-27-2012 01:31 AM

Tensai doesn't fit that definition though. He's wrestled Cena multiple times, he's wrestled Sheamus and Punk too DURING their title reigns.

I wouldn't exactly consider those guys "on the bottom".

SlickyTrickyDamon 06-27-2012 01:31 AM

He's no "bottom feeder" but I'm going with Claudio. Also picking Ryback because I guess they see another monster Goldberg push for him.

Oh I don't mean he'll get it any time soon. It's years down the line that I'm seeing something like this. The guy is good and WWE knows it. He'll be midcard for most of his career and then someday, years from now when he's become basically the 'crafty old veteran' type he'll get a Christian type run. Also to be clear I'm not comparing Ryder to Christian as they're not even close, but they could end up playing similar roles.

Listen bud.. I put those guys on the list because they aren't main eventers(yet). I don't think Ryback or Sandow are bad or not successful just they isn't main eventers, title holders, or in the mix for a title.

tjogo 06-27-2012 01:34 AM

It's something with polls in this forum.. either you're missing something and everyone tries to give you shit for it or you added someone who didn't need to be added.. you people..:nono:

Actually a good chunk of the midcard is on your list. So basically what your saying is that if you're not mainevent then your a bottom feeder?

#1-norm-fan 06-27-2012 01:35 AM

I don't see why you put Ryder on a higher level than any other midcarder who has been with the company for a while though. I guess the internet show but I don't know how long he can coast off that before he's in danger of being a complete afterthought.

lol maybe i used a poor choice of words.. a bottom feeder is my terms is a midcard guy.. Let me rephrase the title 'Which WWE midcarder will be a main eventer, wwe/heavyweight title holder.

True he doesn't have a claim to fame other than the internet show 'yet' but that's the key. The guy has talent and I see him sticking around for a while. In that time he could do allot more then he has I mean he's still pretty young. Anyway it may never happen I don't have a crystal ball but I could see it happening down the line. Kofi is also a fair example of this and could easily end up in the same spot I just mentioned.

I guess I should have quoted Wishbone. Wasn't thinking that there would be a few posts between our comments by the time I posted.

Ah well in that case I'd say Dolph or Cody are far closer to being the next maineventer. However I'll stick with Ryback since they aren't on the list.

Ryback. By a mile over every other option... Ryback.

Even though Johnny Curtis should be on the rise because he's amazing.

This is the first forum i've been to where people will cry, throw a fit, and try to insult you if you disagree with who should/shouldn't be on a poll.

From what I've seen of Curtis he's been pretty entertaining but yeah Ryback is far more likely to be a main eventer and the thread asked "who WILL get the push" so I went with him. Honestly if it were up to me I'd give it to Yoshi just to see the reactions him winning a WWE title would get here on the forum.

Going with Damien Sandow

Nicky Fives 06-27-2012 08:28 AM

Sandow & Ryback are the correct answers, but Drew McIntyre should be.....#DrewLove
