Funny thing is, between this stuff, and things like HHH getting jealous of Steph flirting with Kurt Angle, Steph walking in on Trish's wrestling lesson... how did they try to keep this a secret IRL when they had more on-air wedding shennanigans than anyone ever?

They didn't get married in real life for like another year and half after the divorce angle in 02. (Divorced around No Way Out 02 in storyline and got married in real life around No Mercy 03). Stephanie was a babyface GM and HHH was being the greatest heel of all time, so it made no sense for it to be brought up. They poked fun at it a bunch after awhile though.

I was kinda joking around with it, but what I mean is they kinda kept this attitude of "well, that's not true" when asked about it even back when they were just dating- before real wedding bells rang. Yeah, it may have not made sense "in character", but it was still such a horribly kept secret.
