Woke up going to work and read this. My day is completely wrecked now.

Ridley must be devastated.

That's like all his movies.

Wonder what made him do it.

That's a shame. From all the sources I've read (not including Wikipedia), Tony had recently found out he had inoperable brain cancer, so he knew it was only a matter of time before he dies, which was why he decided to end his life quickly rather than suffer a slow, agonizing death, putting his family through hell long-term.

RIP Tony

R.I.P Tony. He was an inspiration of mine.

I just saw one of his short films, Beat the Devil featuring Manson himself at the end holding the bible!!

Looks legit to me. Total manic depression must've been one hell of a bastard to kill him. :(

Kalyx triaD 08-20-2012 11:39 PM

He was working on Top Gun 2 with Tom Cruise. Damn.

Well at least we won't be seeing that train-wreck.

Rest in Peace Tony Scott.

Kalyx triaD 08-20-2012 11:41 PM

I was more than ready to return to the fucking DANGER ZONE.

SlickyTrickyDamon 08-20-2012 11:46 PM

The Danger Zone ended with Macho Man's death.

Droford 08-21-2012 12:18 AM

Everyone knows when you have brain cancer you dont jump off a bridge #amateur

Kalyx triaD 08-21-2012 12:19 AM

If I get some terminal thing I would do my best to be a super villain.

Shisen Kopf 08-21-2012 12:52 AM

This would make a good movie. Too bad he can't direct it. Oh well, at least the director of Showgirls is still kickin it.

Didn't you read the TMZ link I posted? His wife confirmed THERE'S NO BRAIN CANCER or medical issues in his entire life. Jesus.

I imagined Tony Scott in heaven flying an F-14 with Goose right about now. :/
