What game or games have you spent the most time playing?
 

For me, Probably San Andreas. Played it pretty much daily from 2004 until 2009. Still play occasionally. Super Mario Brothers 3 and Final Fantasy 7 are definitely up there as well as Final Fantasy Tactics.

What games have had enormous replay value for you?

Runescape took my life for years because of how popular it was when I was in school...
Other than MMO's i'd say Saints Row 1 took up most, used to play it religiously because mine and my mate's gang was always either rank 1 or rank 2 in the leaderboards.
Final Fantasy IX I played till I had all the cards.

That's a pretty hefty amount of time invested into San Andreas... What did you do for all those years?

I literally spend almost 5 years of time combined playing those games.

Mass Effect 2, on my 4th run through.

For older games, I spent most of the early to late nineties playing the first 2 Monkey Island games, as well as Fate of Atlantis, Sam and Max, and Day Of The Tentacle.

Also completed the first Resident Evil half a dozen times, not always to complete it, sometimes just to run around the mansion soaking up the atmosphere.

Lived in buttfuck nowhere with fuckall to do. Had a perfect profile, 100% no deaths, busted, drowning or mission failures.

For me it'd have to be Soul Calibur III. The Chronicle mode was just so good I'd just play it as much as I could to build up my fighters to a level 99. Many many many hours spent.

Oh jeez, Pokemon Red to Gold, that actually SHOULD be tops on my list and if not its number 2.

Agreed, don't know how I forgot it as the last time I played Blue was last year.

If that isn't top two on everyones list, then it most likely isn't far off.

I also played Triple Play 97 on PC quite often. Don't have a machine to run it anymore though.

With NHL 2004, it took me until last year to get to year 17 on the dynasty mode and then I accidentally deleted it. I was completely gutted. I haven't brought myself to play it again since. I shoud buy a more recent console and purchase the current NHL game or something.

Back in the N64 era, it was fun to change the names/costumes of the wrestlers on wCw/nWo Revenge. Miss that game.

Team Fortress 2. Steam says I have 217 hours on record.

Dark Souls. I've put over 200 hours in it.

Call of Duty games - Probably several hundred hours between all of them combined.

MMOs - Months worth of time. The first MMO I ever played, I had a solid couple of months or so of played time after a couple years. As in, the time I played equaled that of an entire month and then some. I was a huge nerd back then. Haven't put in that kind of time in any MMO since though.

Willing to bet I put in hundreds of hours each in many SNES and N64 games, as I would replay games endlessly.

Oh god, I forgot Tecmo. That's #1 easy for me.
