Team 3-D/Dudley Boys leaving?!?!??!

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!!!!

http://www.wrestlingnewssource.com/n...y-TNA-Futures/

And Devon's new tweet says that despite leaving TNA, He's NOT RETIRING for good.. Whew.

DLVH84 08-29-2012 08:45 PM

What would become of the TNA Television Championship?

Fignuts 08-29-2012 08:50 PM

Hope Bubba goes to WWE. I like his bully character.

PorkSoda 08-29-2012 08:50 PM

Maybe they're going back to Double Double E!

dronepool 08-29-2012 08:51 PM

The WWE tag team division needs them.

Well, it says that the title will be dropped to someone else if he loses his last match then. Dunno who.

Cool King 08-29-2012 09:02 PM

I remember posting this a few months ago. Seems like the guy was telling the truth.

KyleEmmott 08-29-2012 09:22 PM

They'll be back by the end of next year. I'm certain.

Ruien 08-29-2012 09:35 PM

Would the WWE really want them back? The tag team division is florishing without them right now. You have three hot tag teams and a few jobber tag teams out there. Where would they fit in? The focus point on the tag team division can't be on the Dudley's but if they comeback (Especially as a face team) that is the route it will go.

Unless they are coming in for 6 months to put over the younger tag teams and then work as agents they need to stay far far away.

loopydate 08-29-2012 09:37 PM

TNA caught lightning in a bottle with the Bully Ray character. If they let their most entertaining heel's contract expire, they're dumber than even THEIR reputation.

Devon, on the other hand, turned his career around as well, but losing him would not be nearly the blow that Ray would. I could see Devon returning as another member of Booker's administration, jumping in as an in-ring enforcer from time to time.

I never was a huge fan of them back in the day, but I'm all aboard the Bully Ray bandwagon.....

JimmyMess 08-29-2012 09:49 PM

D-VON..... GET THE TABLES!

Heisenberg 08-29-2012 09:50 PM

I always enjoyed seeing a Dudley Death Drop.

I agree they have developed enough as individual characters where they could split to make the best of their respective situations for now to keep a Dudley Boys / Deadly Bros. reunion rare, special, and more marketable.

I hope not Garrett Bischoff. He still has a long way to go.

Skippord 08-29-2012 10:44 PM

I've watched a lot of Impact recently and still haven't seen the TV title defended once. Is it an ironic title?

That's TNA for you, they change their minds so fast. Hell, Devon was even willing to defend that title every week and did very well doing so.

Supreme Olajuwon 08-29-2012 11:42 PM

oh god if the Dudleys came back to WWE

jism all over the place

love the Dudleys

Keith 08-29-2012 11:44 PM

They would revive the Tag Team Division just like that.

Thing is, who knows if they'd want to reunite as a tag team? Maybe they want to do their thang individually.

But if they came back as a tag team, it'd be great for the Tag Team scene.

Road Warrior 08-30-2012 03:52 AM

Love to see them come through the crowd and put AJ through a table.

Schlomey 08-30-2012 08:39 AM

The bully character is very much tv 14. I assume if they do have another wwe run it would be a piss poor watered down version of all of their former incarnations.

Corporate CockSnogger 08-30-2012 08:59 AM

Yeahhhh Dudleys back in WWE would be swell.

Innovator 08-30-2012 09:16 AM

Good. If TNA didn't resign them a long time ago, it's their loss.

Schlomey 08-30-2012 11:46 AM

we lost reks. there is no tag division :( lol

Corporate CockSnogger 08-30-2012 11:50 AM

Just think of all the new guys there are for the Dudleys to put through tables. Would pique my interest.

Well, yeah! There's... uh...

Hm...

R-Truth and Kofi are the champions...

And...

The Primetime Players...

And the teams that lose to those two teams on TV so they can keep them apart until NoC, so Epico & Primo and...

Um...

Yep. Flourishing.

erickman 08-30-2012 11:51 AM

if they did go back to wwe then bully ray needs to stay alone and start beating up on the b-a-star wrestlers and bully them there is a story there.

loopydate 08-30-2012 11:51 AM

Wait, I forgot about the Usos!

Of course, so did WWE...

Yes. The tag team division is flourishing. The means it is growing at a rapid rate and is successful. Compared to what the division was 6 months ago it is flourishing.

Rollermacka 08-30-2012 01:21 PM

I thought it would be a bad idea for TNA to turn Bully face, its a worse idea to let him leave. Devon is good, I think he found a good spot tagging with Garrett Bischoff (makes Garrett slightly more bareable). It must be a money thing and I would say give them what they want. Bully is just about ready for a world title run. Id say have Devon drop the TV title and have him a full time tag teaming with Garrrett. On top of both of them improving so much reciently, I read they're both help out the younger wrestlers a lot. Their wrestling school is a place to develop talent, this way they have OVW, Team 3D, and the Nasty Boyz schools to get talent from (yes, I used the words Nasty Boyz and talent in the same sentance)

Keith 08-30-2012 03:00 PM

I wonder if WWE would push Bully Ray as a top heel on RAW or Smackdown.

I can kinda see a feud between him and Cena happening.

He's good on the mic, at least.

Hanso Amore 08-30-2012 04:23 PM

Bully could come in for a short upper card feud like Tensai was supposed to do.

Or they could come back for a short while.

They are the victim of the times of today where there arent territories. They are some of the few guys who peak very late. Sadly its TNA, or WWE and I am not sure they fit in todays WWE

KyleEmmott 08-30-2012 04:32 PM

I just don't see a way WWE can bring them back and not put them together. I mean they are THE DUDLEYS!! They're recognized as that and bringing them back as singles would just feel wrong. lol

Fignuts 08-30-2012 05:45 PM

Really wish that at some point we would have gotten a good, long, Dudleys vs Road Warriors feud.

Could have been the greatest tag feud of all time.

Swiss Ultimate 08-30-2012 05:48 PM

I was pretty happy with their feud with Sabu and RVD.

Gertner 08-30-2012 05:58 PM

Great news. Time for the Dudleyz to leave the minor leagues and come back to the majors.

Nicky Fives 08-30-2012 07:10 PM

I don't think tables are PG-13 anymore.....
