Chris Jericho is great, but Kurt Angle may be the best of all time, neck and neck with HBK.

Pintint 09-03-2012 12:47 AM

Very hard choice. Kurt Angle wins by a hair. They are both extremely charismatic and amazing wrestlers, but I am just a bit more partial to Angle.

#1-norm-fan 09-03-2012 12:49 AM

... Goddammit. I have no idea.

Tazz Dan 09-03-2012 12:58 AM

Y2J is one of my all time favourites, but Angles has had so many great matches. Hard to go past him.

#1-norm-fan 09-03-2012 01:14 AM

Jesus. Just voted. Did not expect this result at this point.

Lock Jaw 09-03-2012 01:27 AM

.... This is probably going to be the hardest round for me to decide. Would not have minded this match for the finals.

I've never been the hugest Kurt Angle fan even though obviously he's awesome. Love Jericho though so I'm voting for him.

Rock Bottom 09-03-2012 02:56 AM

not close 4 me kirk angel all the way

Nicky Fives 09-03-2012 05:38 AM

Angle

Corporate CockSnogger 09-03-2012 06:12 AM

Very close. Gonna go with Jericho on this one though but will probably change my mind as soon as I vote.

Rammsteinmad 09-03-2012 06:55 AM

Jericho is to me what Triple H is to James Steele. Love the guy, and everything he does. Whether it's being the best in the world at what he does, or Fozzy, who are fucking awesome, or his two autobiographies, which are two of my favourite books. His dancing with the stars stuff was fun to watch, as was his time hosting that crappy gameshow, which was crap, but I watched it anyway because it was Chris Jericho, and all the crappy movies he's been in, which were also crap, but I still watched because Y2J was in them.

Jericho has gotten to where he is today, and at 40 years of age, not only is still looking fucking good, but he's still in great shape. He isn't broken down like Angle, nor is he a fucking raving lunatic like Angle. And yet, he's been in his fair share of five-star or dangerous matches, so there's no excuse that Angle "pushes himself harder".

Angle is fucking awesome, don't get me wrong. But quite simply, Chris Jericho is "the man".

This, and exactly this. 100%.

I agree with Skippord.

Ruien 09-03-2012 09:45 AM

Kurt Angle is the best wrestler out there. Look at everyone who jumped/went to TNA and how many people actually had an impact. Jeff Hardy, RVD, Christian, etc etc and they did not do anything for TNA. Kurt Angle is the only wrestler to come, make a splash, and to continue to help make an impact in TNA.

Rammsteinmad 09-03-2012 10:52 AM

Not really lol. All joining TNA did was get him out of the mainstreams eye, which he was in whilst working for WWE.

MoFo 09-03-2012 10:55 AM

Went with Angle for no real reason, like them both and love most their matches.

Gertner 09-03-2012 11:01 AM

Angle easily.

Kane Knight 09-03-2012 11:01 AM

I had to stay true to Jericho. Angle is pehonemenal, and may be an overall GOAT, but personally....Y2J all the way.

Destor 09-03-2012 11:04 AM

i think kurt is better at everythin jericho is great at and kurt was viable as a top guy. angle EASY.

I dunno. Jericho seems to be doing a better job at protecting his Twitter account.

Damn, This has made me regret my vote for Angle...

Emperor Smeat 09-03-2012 12:49 PM

Jericho

KaosDarksol 09-03-2012 01:18 PM

Jericho can still put on a great performance and doesn't let his band drop the level of his wrestling ability. Plus let's see if Kurt knows 1004 holds

CSL 09-03-2012 01:26 PM

Kurt. He's better in every single category.

love Jericho but he's consistently the most overrated wrestler on Earth in terms of so many people claiming he's the greatest ever with a straight face compared to how good he actually is

Kurt still has some excellent matches. Dude can still go, but people dismiss him just because he is in TNA.

If he was in the WWE, I don't think there would be nearly this amount of questioning.

I think I've made my own decision as well. Throwing my weight behind Kurt Angle in this thing.

I had thought TPWW had turned against him because of him being in TNA (and being slightly crazy sometimes), but looks like I am being proven wrong.

CSL 09-03-2012 01:36 PM

Kurt today is still better than Jericho today

Jericho was a WCW mid-carder. Probably THE definition of "paying your dues" in professional wrestling.

It's crazy how after everything Kurt Angle has accomplished in professional wrestling, you sometimes forget he actually won an Olympic Gold Medal.

XCaliber 09-03-2012 04:45 PM

Very tough choice but I have to say Angle he was just slightly better when it comes to promos he varies a tad more where Jericho tends to be repetative.

Juan 09-03-2012 04:51 PM

Chris Jericho

I voted Jericho because he managed to get over in WCW despite the bullsh*t pol*t*cs. Would Angle have been able to do the same? No one knows.

Lock Jaw 09-04-2012 12:15 AM

Of course he would have. He had an Olympic Gold Medal. That alone would have made WCW push him. Then, being ultra talented, he would have got over easily.
