TNA Bootcamp

Dixie Carter revealed via a video at the TNA fan event in London that the company is running with a new series called TNA Bootcamp. The idea is similar to Tough Enough and The Ultimate Fighter, with British only talents competing for a deal with TNA. So far Marty Scurll, Rockstar Spud and The Blossom Twins are all confirmed. No word on when it will debut, but the series will air on Challenge TV.

Geez, why do British wrestlers have such shitty names?

CSL 09-03-2012 09:44 AM

lol what, you get good and shit names in all corners of wrestling, it's hardly a specific Brit thing

Will prol watch this.

Our wrasllers over here have such a shit look though. All got 80's perms and ill fitting singlets.

Gertner 09-03-2012 10:59 AM

TNA is garbage. We should have a seperate forum for this shit.

Rollermacka 09-03-2012 12:31 PM

So it's gonna be more like the latest season of Tough Enough? (mak a cheezy realality show with a bunch of people who are already pro wrestlers) I liked the first 3 seasons of Tough Enough where they took athletic people and made them into wrestlers. (Million dollar Tough Enough did give us Ryback and Miz but didn't care for it too much)

Razzamajazz 09-03-2012 02:56 PM

will the first person to get eliminated be the first to appear on tna television, and the winner will be fired?

Keith 09-03-2012 03:00 PM

Knowing TNA and Dixie Carter, Sting will somehow be involved in this.

I mean, he's involved in everything else.

He'll probably play the role of "Stone Cold" Steve Austin.

You might get names like "Marty Spangler" or "Franklin McDoogle" which are dumb, but still better than "ROCKSTAR SPUD". Is Spud short for something? Is he Irish?

itsmeJD 09-03-2012 07:48 PM

Yes, his real name is Spud McSpuddle.:shifty:

James Steele 09-03-2012 07:57 PM

Well fuck, that sounds like a World Heavyweight Champion to me.

lol nah, was just Spud, plucky bland babyface lightweight before becoming an "egotistical rock star". Probably the best/most "nailed on" character/gimmick in the country. Somebody would have signed him ages ago if he was a foot taller.

Yeah, because the thing that will save TNA is a bunch of limeys...

CSL 11-11-2012 06:12 PM

that's definitely what they're aiming for

Mongo should be one of the trainers.

Mongo is the one who really cashed in on the Bam Bam/LT WrestleMania XI match. He parlayed it into a WWE Hall of Fame career as a proud member of the 4 Horsemen and a former United States Champion.

Autobahn 11-12-2012 03:39 AM

Seriously, as if you would'nt mark out if this music hit in TNA:

Only Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard, Barry Windham and JJ Dillon are in the Hall of Fame as Horsemen.

Although I agree that he probably made a good amount of change for himself, but probably lost most of it in divorce.

They really should have skipped Ring Ka King and tried a promotion in England instead.

He hosts a sports radio show in Chicago and is the head coach of the Chicago Slaughter indoor football team (which is owned by Jim McMahon).
