Jerry Lawler almost had to die to undo the ratings damage from Punk and Hart
 

The WWE learned their lesson: never bore anybody out of the gate with these two vanilla midgets again. The sudden rush of everybody waking up, including Lawler caused Jerry to have a heart attack.

They still lost viewers in the third hour. Not even Lawler almost dying could give them a bump.

I knew this was a Gertner thread when I saw it on the main page.....

Wow... ok I knew you were an ass Gertner, but this? How anyone can say you're not a troll is beyond me. Even if this is just meant to "get under peoples skins" or troll the board this is just plain sick.

Ratings only stood a chance if Jerry died but he refused to job.

They got desperate and tried to add Cena to the mix to liven it up, but it was too late.

Fans were thinking " Wow, Jerry Lawler had a heart attack, I should watch and see if he pulls through......on the other hand, I'd have to listen to Punk and Hart on the mic again."
