Favorite Pony (FiM) ?
For those of us who watch Friendship is Magic...
Who, out of the main cast of Friendship is Magic, is your favorite pony? http://www.odditycentral.com/wp-cont...p_is_magic.jpg For me it's a very difficult choice between Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy. By a teensy bit, I'll go with Fluttershy just because her personality is closer to mine than Dash's. What about you? |

But as to the topic at hand, I watched a couple of episodes of MLP just to see what all the fuss is about, since it's a huge meme on teh internets and there's a big fan community and all. It's cute and stuff, and since it's Lauren Faust its sense of humor reminded me a lot of the Powerpuff Girls and Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends, both of which I enjoyed immensely. Granted, it's still a show clearly meant for a different age group (and gender), but it's good for what it is. So.......I vote Pinkie Pie because she actually made me laugh out loud once or twice in the episodes I saw. |

It's all well and good that they like the show, but to go around constantly referring to yourself as a "Brony" gets quite annoying after a while, along with always telling me that I should watch the show. Also, claiming that the show is the greatest thing since animation began is a bit much too. Not a lot of fans do the latter, but there are fans like that, that I've came across. I have seen parts of the show in passing but I've never gone out of my way to actually watch it. It's not because it's seen as being a "girls cartoon" or "it's gay" or whatever, because I actually liked The Powerpuff Girls when I was younger and that was seen as a "girls cartoon" too. It's just that it's doesn't interest me. Also, a side note. I've noticed that the large majority of "Bronies" that I come across, be it online or in real life, turn out to be massive gay furries. What's with that? |

I saw the first two episodes. It's nice, I wouldn't follow the season but it's not a total fluffy wreck.

I watch this show when I babysit my 6 year old niece, and it's not bad, but I don't see the appeal for adult males. Comes off as extremely creepy
