Randall Cobb: Week 2 Sleeper?
I picked him up off the waiver wire this week and I'm thinking about playing him tonight.
I have a good bench of players that I'm playing ahead of him, I just feel like he's the one to get the start for this week. He would be starting over Dwayne Bowe, and would be my flex with Jordy Nelson and Megatron as my 2 starters in my PPR league. He looked very impressive last week in their loss to the 49ers, and Bowe does have a favorable match up, but is isn't enough to make me want to start him. What do you all think? |
I wouldn't start 2 Packers receivers.
I'd pick either him or Nelson and I would definitely play Dwayne Bowe against Buffalo.
Yeah, I might do that man, Thanks. I have the last few hours to decide on which receiver to use Packers wise.
No idea which one of the two to start though. Which Packers WR puts up better numbers is usually a crap shoot. Cobb was the Packers offense against the Niners last week but Nelson has a better history. Tough choice.
It all comes down to Jordy getting open tonight. As a Packers fan, I want to play Cobb and Nelson, but my fantasy side knows it's not smart on paper to take the gamble.
I picked up Cobb and started him over Maclin because "Game time decision" in fantasy football is like hearing the words "I might be pregnant." I panicked. Cobb got me some rushing yards and a catch, but if Maclin plays and performs I'll feel like an ass.
Cobb will bounce back and have some better games as the season progresses.
I hope you started Bowe.
I did, but I faced off against Danny Amendola and that didn't end well. I also had power of luck with Trent Richardson. My TE position is what killed me. I cut Fred Davis this morning and picked Martellus Bennett and Kyle Rudolph so hopefully they can help as they have been steady shots for at least 10 pts.
Danny went the fuck off on PPR leagues, and I didn't play a scrub as most of my league is pretty well endowed with keeping up and starting good players
