Why the hell is Vicky Guerrero given any kind of manager position?

Simply put, this bitch doesn't really help put anybody over, in fact, it makes you want to not watch the segment at all. Putting a male heel in a power position makes people want to see them get their ass kicked, and usually, they do, but a female heel in power is much less likely to receive the same fate, especially with the Komen endorsements having a major part to play in WWE's activities as of late. If this was something short-lived and fixed by AJ destroying Vicky, then I'd at least give a shrug at the dramatic effect and see where it might go, but if this is another long-term Vicky-power era, then we are seeing a major conflict between creative-control and a good investment in quality entertainment.

I wish they kept Johnny Ace in the role.

Best GM they've had since Easy E

Damndirty 10-23-2012 01:48 AM

Ace wasn't all that bad, despite his voice. He could've been a bigger heel if they would have held the Big Show turn for a later date. Impatience!

#1-norm-fan 10-23-2012 02:04 AM

WWE doesn't know what the fuck they wanna do with the official title of who runs the show much less who actually holds the title.

slik 10-23-2012 02:06 AM

Because it makes storyline sense to ban AJ for fraternizing with John Cena even though she was going to marry Daniel Bryan when she was originally offered the job.

#BROKEN Hasney 10-23-2012 02:17 AM

Ahahahaha, brilliant. I've not watched for weeks because it's been terrible and this is going to keep me away for sure.

Fignuts 10-23-2012 02:31 AM

Too many damns on this site.

SlickyTrickyDamon 10-23-2012 04:04 AM

Vickie is over with the crowd and gets a loud reaction whenever she is on TV. Heel authority figures are better than face ones.

She had to break up with him to take the job. Don't poke holes in WWE logic when they actually make sense. So now CM Punk can say "Oh so that's why Cena has been getting so many title shots!"

jthrottle 10-23-2012 09:22 AM

Well seems to me if they want to make the whole AJ - Cena thing stick. They should drop Vicki from managing or "fraternizing" with Ziggler.

Granted this means Creative would have a clue on how to run the show and make storylines believable again.

Big Vic 10-23-2012 09:53 AM

If Heyman wants to become GM he needs to stop fraternizing with CM Punk

Damn you for even mentioning this! How dare you try to break the WWE power couple apart. :'(

And Brock, and I just got a very very disturbing image in my head. I need to go barf now.

MoFo 10-23-2012 10:48 AM

Makes it easier for Ziggler to get over as a face when he wins the WWF World Heavyweight Title and has the mandatory "top wrestler vs authority figure" feud.

DLVH84 10-23-2012 11:23 AM

Despite that, I loved it when Vickie denied Paul Heyman.

I think someone would quite vehemently disagree with that statement...

Pintint 10-23-2012 12:16 PM

I like Vickie, I think she's an awesome manager and "EXCUSE ME" interrupting a segment is classic.
Plus I love DOOOOOOOOOOOLLPH ZIGGLER and anyone associating with Dolph is automatically on my good side.

DrCrawford 10-23-2012 12:18 PM

as soon as vicki came out i turned raw off.

Robodiv 10-23-2012 02:57 PM

Probably to build some sort of Team AJ vs Team Vicki at Survivor Series.

Gertner 10-23-2012 04:26 PM

What the hell are you talking about? Vickie gets everybody over.

Frank Drebin 10-23-2012 10:00 PM

I like Vickie. Memba that Raw where the crowd kept booing so loud everytime she started talking that Cena had to kindly ask them to quiet down? More Vickie equals more heat. AJ might be heading back to the divas division to wrassle and if you are going to have a GM a heel is always better. Its a win-win.

True. I think it's good to have one face GM and one heel GM to balance everything out.

Emperor Smeat 10-23-2012 10:29 PM

Assuming this ends up being true, Vickie probably won't have that much time as the authority figure even though it made no sense to hire her when she did the same stuff AJ is accused of.

SPOILER: show
PWInsider says very high chance of Ric Flair returning on the 29th as the new GM.

Frank Drebin 10-23-2012 10:31 PM

Even with the TNA/WWE lawsuit?

Emperor Smeat 10-23-2012 10:33 PM

Either its going to be settled soon or the WWE thinks enough time has passed to end their embargo on hiring anyone from TNA.

NormanSmiley 10-24-2012 12:26 PM

heel authority figure usually means a face champion. could mean bye bye to punks title.

also frees up ziggles to win a belt then dump vicki and immediately hes a top face

and vicki is annoying but shes a heat machine and aj is dull as all fuck

theexample 10-24-2012 03:19 PM

She has heat. With two words, she garners a greater response than many heels ever do.

See gets the most heat out of any wrestler on the roster.

These. No matter what/where/who/when/why/how/yourmom she is, people hate her chins and teeth.

There is also the excuse me thing, and the fact that her voice makes me sacrifice newborns on an altar of Satan, thereby making wolves howl.

Ah, the circle of life. :y:

KaosDarksol 10-24-2012 05:30 PM

Hopefully it ends next week if a certain someone returns

I remember 2 theexample posts ever, both today and this being the 2nd. 2/2 so far.

Damndirty 10-30-2012 06:22 AM

Her voice gives me a headache, which is something I do not keep tabs on a show for. She already had her time as the big heel GM, so we're just seeing a repeat of history- something that has become a major characteristic of the company.

Zeeboe 11-05-2012 10:28 AM

Her voice gets on my nerves and I think she is so ugly. She is one of the reasons why I don't watch modern-day WWE. :(

Stephanie McMahon's voice use to get on my nerves too, but she was hot as hell at least so I didn't mind.

that's just proof she's the ultimate heel.

Mr. Nerfect 11-07-2012 11:45 PM

I'm kind of hoping that Jerry Lawler takes over as the RAW GM next week. It gets King off commentary and it allows him to remain featured on the show. Vickie Guerrero can then go back to doing what she does best -- getting budding acts extra heel heat by just appearing with them.

Oh. I thought you were gonna say "Mooching off the Guerrero name ad tricking people into thinking she has any kind of discernible talent".

SlickyTrickyDamon 11-08-2012 02:39 AM

Yeah making a living for your three kids is really mooching off the name of your dead husband.
