Most Inventive

I've been a fan of wrestling for about 5 - 6 years now. Mainly been watching mainstream stuff WWF/E and WCW. and I've hardly seen anything inventive done (in regards to new moves and use of staging eg rampway, ringside) in the last couple of years obviously discounting the TLC Matches and the old WCW Cruiser division. But the question is whats the most inventive thing you've seen in wrestling and why.

Bearing in mind I've hardly ever seen any ECW stuff, So don't be telling me how dumb I am for not knowing how awesomely inventive it was

The Pepsi Plunge by C M Punk. A Top Rope Pedigree.

Also the Hell in a Cell and Triple Cage and Elimination Chambers were pretty inventive.

The RoH Triple Threat Match between Low Ki, Chris Daniels, and Bryan Danielson had some very innovative spots. I strongly recommend dl'ing to view if you haven't had a chance. Actually, many of RoH's 3 and 4 man matches are good for some innovative spots.

NWA:TNA's Ultimate X Match is the goods.

And I'm actually intrigued to see what H2Wrestling comes up with since they're using the 6 Sided ring.

A top rope pedigree isn't very inventive, its just taking someone else's move and doing it from the top rope.

Hell in a Cell is kinda, but basically its just a bigger cage with a top, not not that inventive. Triple cage was kinda as well, but was just WCW's version of a Hell in a Cell, and all it was was a cage with more levels, so not that inventive either. :-\

The Elimination Chamber on the other hand in my opinion is a pretty impressive all round match, the way the match is thought out and the structure of the Chamber is awesome, and with a platform that is level with the ring, its pretty cool.

Jamie Noble is a guy to watch, he's a great technical and all round worker, one of the best wrestlers in the wwe right now.

Who got the credit for inventing the Elimination Chamber anyway?

that submission move that Gail Kim does is sweeeet.

Mr. JL 05-10-2004 09:19 PM

I'd kill for a Guerrero/Kanyon feud...

I'd also kill for a RVD/Kanyon feud...

Corkscrewed 05-11-2004 04:59 AM

Who betta than Kanyon? And if you say no one, then that's why he's gone. He's a threat ya know. :shifty:

Anyway, I wish the CW division would produce new and innovative maneuvers more often. Maybe not every week like the X-Division, but geez, give us something new. Even new twists on old moves would work.
