R.I.P. Lucille Bliss, the original Smurfette
Lucille Bliss, whose voice acting career spanned nearly eight decades, passed away on November 8, at the age of 96.
Lucille Bliss began her career in 1935, but it wouldn't be until 1950 when she got her first break as the voice of Anatasia in Cinderella. Since then and until her death, she remained very active in voicework. Her voicework includes Crusader Rabbit (the very first made-for-TV cartoon), the infamous Smurfette from The Smurfs, and Ms. Bitters from Invader ZIM. Her final work was 2012's Unwrap An Expletive as Santa's Elf. |
How is Smurfette infamous? Did she have a sex scandal with Papa Smurf or mastermind a drug ring?

How do you know this shit?

R.I.P. Machira Konodo
The third guy to dub Nick Moore from Family Ties in Japan. That's what I'd expect from DLVH84. |
