Was watching HBK VS Kurt Angle at Vengeance 2005 yesterday, when this thought occurred. Discounting the Macho Man, who trademarked the elbow off the top rope, which wrestler does the sweetest elbow?

For me, it would have to be HBK.

well not quite a top rope elbow, but i always loved brets elbow drop from the 2nd turnbuckle

I, once upon a time, did an elbow drop with an inflatable alligator (named areola) at a spring break themed show. Tagging with Eugene and Graffix the Mean Green Chicken.

It was fun, but, my elbow drop sucked in comparison with all of the above.

Eric Young and Curt Hawkins both have very nice elbow drops.

In terms of actually ending the match, the obvious choices besides Savage would be Lance Cade (quite frequently while in WWE) and Tracey Smothers (on the rare occasion on which he landed it). And although Charles Robinson sold Gorgeous George's top-rope elbow at Slamboree 1999 so much as to wear a neck brace for a month after, that could have been due to the elbow drop being botched.

i like demolition's backbreaker/2nd turnbuckle elbow finisher.

We need to get some more current superstars doing elbow drops. Besides cm punk doing it as an honor to savage does anyone currently in wwe do it at all

I think Punk is more than enough at the moment... now lets get some top rope leg drop going for someones finisher.

Seriously, though...in that last LMS match vid, that’s probably one of the sickest bumps I’ve ever seen anyone take.

No love for the peoples elbow, and my hours spent trying to make it look good on WWF attitude on the N64.
