Bring on the clowns

Ok, so there not clowns but still it's a recent match of mine (what do you think of my sexy snakeskin gear? :naughty:) I was doing more of an "enforcer" role in this match. There's no point in trying to be a talker when your partner is one and you have a manager.

I actually met Matt Borne at a recent indy show. Really nice guy, great in ring psychologist (even outside of the Doink persona)

I’ve never met him, but I have heard others say the same about him.

My favorite part was when you went over the top rope to enter the ring like tall guys.

Learn what you can though and practice it for when you're out on your own at some point.

In conclusion, you should start a Kurrgan gimmick

Hanso Amore 11-26-2012 11:08 PM

MAcka, no lie. I think you doing what you love and I respect that. We could all be so lucky

I also think when I watch your videos, you try too hard. Like too many gimmicks, too many things you try etc. Like as an IWC fan you try to be the BEST THINK EVER WE COULD WANT.

Think you have a good look, and think you have a decent pulse and im pulling for you. Just try not to get sucked into being everything to everyone.

I love the Barn Rasslin federation!

Hanso Amore 11-26-2012 11:12 PM

Not ragging just have a bit more to add - I do think you try too much.

Ive seen you say things like you are going for arrogant heel. Trying to mess with monster. Gotta know your area. You can work arrogant in the bigs, but in the indies you are a monster. Cant have both. Aroorgant heels dont step over the top rope. You are trying to break the mold set by people greater than you.

Hanso Amore 11-26-2012 11:13 PM

Think Scott Hall. Hall played nothing but MUSCLE OAF for ten years until he got a chance o be the "arrogant heel".

Kevin Nash was an arrogant heel who stepped over the top rope :shifty:. Ironically, every video I've shown (me vs the little guy, the three ways, this tag match) have all been at different wrestling companies. Unfortunately, I don't have a group of writers to help me refine and the longest running weekly episodic TV show to possibly get the gimmick over. Every show is a new audience and alot of times I have to play to what the company needs (monster/ enforcer, arrogant heel, I even work face from time to time) Right now, I'm working on being versatile so I can gain experience so I can develop my offense so that it's not just generic big man stuff, choke, stomp, slam repeat. I'm adding alittle more personality to my moves and add some stuff that showcases that I am quick and agile. I can jump to go over people for a sunset flip or throw a dropkick, do some stuff off the second rope/ up and get over the top rope for a senton or flying shoulderblock. Hopefully, in my next video I can show some chain wrestling that I know, too.

I suppose its a bit harsh criticism from me, obviously its easy to poke holes from the outside looking in.

SNLfunnyguy 11-28-2012 07:42 AM

I was expecting something to do with Krusty singing.

Curd 11-28-2012 12:03 PM

If it helps your morale any, then U-RAH-RAH, P-A-U-L, T-I-T-A-N!

I think its good that you are trying to find what works for you, maybe keep with sonething that is an extension of your personality turned up to eleven, regardless of whether face or heel.

Alternatively you could go for a cheapskate gimmick where you bum food and money from the crowd. Repackag yourself as Paul Tightass.
