what xbox game do i want for christmas?
 

the missus' parents want to get me a game for christmas apparently and i have been looking like a bastard for something i would potentially like but i am struggling a bit. this year i have been playing ufc, skyrim, fallout 3 & new vegas and sleeping dogs mostly. any ideas are well appreciated :'(

Defo Walking Dead when it comes out on disc this month, you will cry like a bastard though.

You'll probably like Dishonored but other than that, not sure myself. Unless you enjoy Halo/COD, it's a pretty bleak winter.

Far Cry 3

Dishonored is good, but pretty short. I'd wait for a price drop.

I need to properly get on Dishonored. Hooray for the 50% off Steam sale.

Keep forgetting Far Cry 3 exists due to Ubisoft being WANKERS and not putting it on the UK Steam store

Just been on GAME's website and Dishonored is recuced. £27.99 for the limited edition.

I can't decide whether I actually like it or not. Sick of carefully plotting an attack on some enemies only to get savaged by a fucking tiger or something.

Not sure what to suggest here though, despite having a massive pile of games next to me to choose from. You fussy bastard. :'(

I'd say get her to pre-order a game as there are lots of great titles coming out in early 2013 but if ya want to get a game right away there's always Dishonered it's gotten decent reviews by gamers and critic alike.

He can ask for a God of War bundle for Xbox all he likes, but I doubt it's going to appear in his stocking on Christmas morning.

I never even finished it. I got some key disappearing glitch which apparently would have meant I'd have to start the game again from the very beginning and I couldn't be bothered, so it's still sitting on my shelf waiting for me to go through it again. Considered putting it back on again about two nights ago actually.

lol if you're getting attacked that much you're not paying much attention to your surroundings. Every animal makes a lot of noise, even when it's not close enough to see you. Mark it with your camera so you know where it is, and then plan your attack from somewhere else.

I've played the game for over 10 hours now, and I've only been caught unaware by a dangerous predator about a couple times.

I freaking love this game. Just liberated an outpost using only takedowns and the bow and arrow. Last two kills were using the knife throw takedown which is amazingly badass.

And it says something that you can go out and hunt bears with a rocket launcher.
