False death reports
 

For the last few years, there's always some fool posting fake death reports of some wrestlers...

October 15, 2006: WWE reported that Corporal Kirchner passed away. However, six days later, turned out that he is still alive and the rumor was false. It was a mix-up.

February 20, 2012: WWC reported that Rex King passed away. A day later, it turned out to be false and that he is still alive.

December 3, 2012: There was reports that DC Drake passed away. A day later, it turned out to be false and that he is still alive.

I think it's totally distasteful to falsify a death report.

I was gonna edit the title of this thread to say something like "so and so wrestler passes away" as a goof but I've really been abusing my mod abuse powers lately

I gotta agree with DLVH here death really isn't something to be joking around about. I mean if it was clearly a joke and done only as a spoof then maybe I'd feel differently, but when people post things like this in a serious manner it's really distasteful.

If I recall correctly, Kurt Angle had a fake death rumor about him in like 2005 (either that, or people thought he was on death watch).

That was another rumor that was false. I even heard one about him having a twin brother, but that was false as well.
