Hello all, Does anybody remember WWE jobber Damien Demento? He showed up, won a couple of matches & was squashed by The Undertaker. He was actuallly in the main event of the 1st ever Monday Night RAW. Well, I was talking to my boss at work about wrestling yesterday, & I found out something really funny. Damien Demento (real name Phil Thies) is actually my bosses UNCLE! lol :lol: Just a funny little tidbit I thought I would post!

He was also one of the terrorists killed by Bruce Willis in Die Hard: With A Vengeance!

I remember him being in Royal Rumble 1993

His finisher was The Kneedrop of DOOM!!!!!!

Also, I was just informed he was also Mondo Kleen in the indies :shifty:

Not only that, he was in there a good twenty minutes too.

I always remember reading a story about how the Beverlys were supposed to wrestle a house show around that time but one of them (let's say Beau) couldn't make it for whatever reason so rather than cancel the match, they subbed Demento in. Anyway, just before they started, Demento started talking to his hands and Blake just cracked up and was in hysterics for the entire match, unable to do a damn thing.

Interesting connection. That's pretty funny, and maybe you can arrange an interview sometime! ;)

Doesnt have to be that old, look at Eddie and Chavo. And a guy I used to go to school with was actually older than his own uncle.
