Now that Dolph Ziggler and AJ Lee are aligned...
Ziggler vs. Bryan at WrestleMania seems like one of the best things the WWE could do. Discuss.

That could indeed be good. Bryan is the one who "started AJ down this path of insanity" after he used the DENNIS system on her.
Now that he is a sorta face, he could look to make amends with her and whatnot. World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler will have none of it, though. Leads to a great match at Mania that goes longer than 18 seconds. |
It'd probably be the best pure wrestling match the WWE can put forward. Plus, Bryan would be able to work with Langston and help him settle more into WWE waters. It'd tell a WrestleMania-to-WrestleMania story, too, with the kiss AJ gave Bryan at one WrestleMania starting her downward spiral into madness. I think having that sort of continuity could help casual fans really latch onto the storytelling.

I just don't want AJ being the centre of attention like she always is in angles. I'm not just saying that because of my disdain for the girl though. She honestly has been the main focus of all the angles she's been involved with and because of that, nobody really pays attention to what's important in the angle, which is usually a world title or the guy receiving the push. Also, angles that have AJ as being the centre of attention just plain suck and are hard to watch. The first three that come to my head are AJ getting in the way of Big Show, AJ kissing pretty much every guy on Raw and the "AJ/Cena Scandal" shit. If the WWE do decide to have Ziggler/Bryan at WrestleMania then it would be good if they leave AJ out of it. Probably have her cut ties with Ziggler between Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber and she can go off and be the valet/manager of Big E. She could still be the reason both guys have a match at WrestleMania in the first place, but the WWE could do what they do best and act like it didn't happen and just slowly move away from AJ being the reason and make both guys slowly develop a hatred for one another over something else, such as the Money In The Bank contract or if Ziggler cashes in before it and wins, then have it be over the World Heavyweight Championship. |
If the writers were capable, I'd say still have AJ with Dolph, but don't make the feud only about AJ. She can help kick it all off, but then it also becomes a personal thing between Dolph/Bryan. With Dolph saying he is a better champ, and won't lose in 18 seconds. Bryan looking to prove that he is still one of the best in the world and that his title run wasn't a fluke... and that he can have a big WM win.

I think that is what the World Title match will be. I think it would be a great match if given proper time (which it most likely would), and it definitely has that added storyline factor in there. I think Daniel Bryan will be the Number 1 entrant in the Royal Rumble this year with Kane being Number 2. That's my prediction. He's either winning the Rumble or a Chamber match.

Bryan winning the Royal Rumble would be a personal preference of mine, actually. I think it would be a great way to have Bryan showcase his skills and re-establish his value to the main event. |
