It's nice TNA let James Storm win this one to give some of his mojo back after jobbing to Roode a dozen or so times.

Shisen Kopf 01-13-2013 02:56 AM

Lol TNA

James Steele 01-13-2013 03:18 AM

*RVD defeated Jerry Lynn in a hardcore match

Really? Really? They couldn't come up with a new idea for RVD at all? FFS, they've already done this "rematch" on TNA PPVs before.

mike adamle 01-13-2013 08:46 AM

Well in their defense it was probably Jerry's last match before retiring. And the ppv seems to be a showcase of the X division. Well here's a feud that really showcased X division before the X division was even around, not really sure what the problem is.

owenbrown 01-13-2013 08:58 AM

nice to see their "world champion" left off both "PPV" cards :shifty:

owenbrown 01-13-2013 08:59 AM

BUYRATES! Spilchuk is a shithead

Bad News Gertner 01-13-2013 09:06 AM

I mean, they aren't airing for months, probably a pretty good sign he's not gonna be champ anymore... Plus it's rumored his contract is up in March. Real smart idea to air a PPV with a world champion who's not even signed with the company anymore. And you bitch about others who don't think before they post. :shifty:

Schlomey 01-13-2013 09:22 AM

Ya with spoilers weeks in advance I see this concept going absolutely nowhere.

mike adamle 01-13-2013 09:28 AM

Why? No one buys their ppvs anyways. These are cheap $15 shows that air all month. The people who read the spoilers are gonna buy this regaurdless. The main point of these shows is to put on a good product for the ones who always buy it and introduce a few new people (new people that obviously don't know this was taped months ago) to show what TNA can do.

Schlomey 01-13-2013 09:36 AM

Cuz 15 bux is 15 bux and a spoiled ppv won't be paid for..it'll be downloaded.

loopydate 01-13-2013 10:16 AM

So, TNA did Battlebowl? This will certainly do wonders for their reputation as WCW-lite. What's the next pre-tape? A three-ring battle royal? Outdoor ring surrounded by bikers?

They get very little ppv buys as is. The regular TNA fan that purchases a TNA ppv already will still purchase it. The people that download ppv's are always gonna download them. Maybe they might get a few more of them to actually buy the show because Jerry Lynn vs. RVD and Austin Aries vs. Samoa Joe are on there or Ultimate X is on there or the return of battlebowl. This isn't gonna hurt anything.

erickman 01-13-2013 01:21 PM

i guess this will work as long as they do them as one offs, no belts on the line and no storys build ups in case a wrestler gets hurt when they show it 2 months later.

Keith 01-13-2013 01:53 PM

It may cost $15, but I still can't get over the fact we are reading spoilers for a PPV.

Oh, TNA.

A fake payoff in a battle royal is better than giving him a push for a title where he gets no-reaction in title matches.

whiteyford 01-13-2013 04:22 PM

When's the battlebowl knockoff PPV being shown? Just curious if they've done the commentary already incase these random pairings actually make storyline sense down the line before its shown. Or am I expecting too much here?

Ultra Mantis 01-13-2013 06:17 PM

They might just dub commentary on closer to the air date, that would allow them to talk about the hot new signings of Ryan "Bro" Zach, Trent 9mm and such.

Xero 01-13-2013 07:01 PM

I hope there are title changes on these taped PPVs.

Joesgonnakillyou 01-13-2013 08:06 PM

I love one night tournaments, i dig the concept they;re going for

but it'll go nowhere

I guess the Rodriguez Twins are waiting until Mickie James leaves TNA so they aren't jobbed out to her after an initial three-month strong debut in TNA. I'm also curious as to when Chris Mordetsky will return as Kris Mastersohn or such.

I'm hoping he is soon unmasked as Aces and 8s member Craig Veristrong and starts busting out the Strongalong challenge.

tna sucks donkey dick

Rollermacka 01-14-2013 12:13 PM

Hmm, the X Division one doesn't sound that bad. The Aries/ Joe match was probibly pretty good and I'd like to see some of these guys (Mason Andrew, Tony Neese, Petey Williams) be used regularly on Impact.
