80's arena/venue question
in the early 80's they would have matches on prime time wrestling that were from a venue where the wrestler walked from the curtain to the ring on something raised to ring level. wrestlers never climbed the steps. some guys would take back body drops on it.
was this the spectrum in philly? or im thining somewhere in canada. anyone know? im trying to youtube it |
I dunno but WCW always seemed to tape at the Cobb County Civic Center.

i thought i'd latch onto this instead of making a new thread. i remember watching a raw sometime between april 2007 and the time benoit died where there was basically no entrance ramp. it was just giant stage, a short walk, then the ring. anyone know what the date was and/or have a link to see the show? i specifically remember seeing benoit, that's how i know the general timeframe

maybe. i just remember thinking it looked odd because there were only a couple rows of seats

For a long time, SmackDown! didn't have a ramp and it was just a carpeted walkway.
