i have nothing on the docket so far this year. and last year the only live music i saw the 1 day of pitchfork and a grimes secret show for lollapalooza. wow that feels really lame typing it out. i need to go see some rock & roll or some shit. wow.

I'm going to see Bad Religion and Polar Bear Club at the beginning of April. Pretty stoked 'cause I haven't seen Bad Religion live yet. Against Me! was supposed to be on the bill too (was like 75% of the reason I wanted to go) but they backed out 'cause their drummer quit. DAMMIT. I haven't seen them since Tom Gabel went all Lara Emily, and they always put on an amazing show.
Otherwise, I'm going to some festival or another, Metallica is headlining or something and RHCP and Deftones and Rise Against and Dropkick Murphys are playing, plus the usual assortment of a bunch of bands I never heard of. IDK should be pretty hot. Usually not big on "festivals" but whatevs. crossrine |

Red Fang Fozzy Anthrax Slayer A Perfect Circle Linkin Park Blink 182 Metallica I don't like Linkin Park, but they put on a hell of a show, Blink 182 acted like they didn't want to be there - actually they acted like a pair of 14 years olds, but I guess that's their shtick. |
Marilyn Manson/Alice Cooper and GWAR (I think they're touring with them)

saw The Defiled (eh although the keyboard player threw his keyboard in the air and it landed on his face, which was beautiful) Gojira (prettyyyy good, ridiculously "tight") and Ghost (more eh) last night

Gojira are decent, always fancied seeing them. I just can't be arsed with the entire gig going experience any more though.
