Will Jeff Hardy return to the WWE?
As a most of you might know, WWE has added Jeff Hardy's alumni profile on the WWE website. A lot of the speculation is that it's their way of bringing him back or sending out feelers to him; or maybe we're just over thinking it and they're are just giving him a profile. Which leads me to this question....
Will Jeff Hardy ever return to the WWE? If so, how we'll he be used? |
When he was the World Heavyweight Champion, it was getting the main event of big PPVs (it actually main evented Summerslam in 2009). And as far as I know, Smackdown was actually getting higher ratings than RAW at some points when Jeff Hardy was on Smackdown. That, and he pretty much made CM Punk into the top heel in the company at that time (until they started horribly butchering CM Punk for the latter half of 20091and all of 2010).
Jeff Hardy (and Randy Orton) is one of the reasons I think the Wellness Policy should have a probation period where, if you stay clean for a set amount of time (maybe a year or so), one of your strikes should wear off. I'm sure WWE would welcome him back with open arms with pay that's worthy of a top star, but the 2 strikes basically hinder him completely. Just look at how short each of his world title reigns were. Plus, he's actually clean and sober now, since he felt bad for ruining Victory Road 2011 (and rightfully so). I think the probation period would help save a lot of wrestlers' careers, simply because having 2 strikes means you're pretty much screwed out of a lot of opportunities, even if you successfully came out of rehab. ^^There's my opinion |
his contract is due up this year, if it isn't already. Depends on him and whether he wants to go full-time again or could maybe do something limited dates wise, I doubt he needs the money at this point. WWE would definitely take him back and in a headline spot as well.

I hope he just goes home
|
I don't want him to return, but he probably will. He's gotten enough chances and he's pissed them away, but if he's willing to go back to WWE, I think they'll have him.
|
Dirt sheets say he's staying put
|
Jeff Hardy's last WWE run was spot on and really solidified me as a fan of his, so I really hope he comes back.
Another feud with Punk would be cool |
I would love to see him back. His last run was good like Juan said, and Hardy/Punk II has so much potential.
|
His 'feud' with HHH is also a personal favourite of mine.
|
I would be cool if Hardy came back as leader of The Shield, for some reason.
|
Loved his feud with Triple H.
|
WWE won't sign him because he can't leave the USA due to his legal issues.

Once these legal issues have been resolved then things could change, but until then, I don't see it happening. |
Truth can't go to Canada.

Or Australia.

I only mention it because I remember someone pointing it out in a Raw thread
|
i'd be glad to see him back.

Jeff Hardy will not be returning to WWE anytime soon:

Don't see it happening. He has two strikes already and is known to relapse often.

Maybe in the future for some non-wrestling or "Legends" appearance role once his new TNA deal is over.

I don't know what happened there. Maybe a "blood cut" exploded inside my head, like that other guy said in another thread. SPOILER: show SPOILER: show |

I did it just for you. |
Never really cared for him outside of a couple of feuds, wouldn't mind him back for a brief run though at the end of his TNA contract ala Jericho.
|
HOF material?
|
He seems wasted (more ways than one) in TNA, sort of half-arsed his matches and looks disinterested.
Wanna see him back in WWE b/c, well hes an awesome wrassler. Him vs Orton @ the Rumble is one of my fave matches. Twist of Fate into RKO finish was tremendousssssss. |
I'd love to see Jeff Hardy against someone like Daniel Bryan after watching Hardy-Aries at Bound For Glory.
