So here I am, not a big FPS fan, having played less than two hours total of Modern Warfare 3, my only CoD title ever. My K/D ratio thus far? Just about .25.

I've been called a cheater like four times in at least two different games. My favourite was a dude who walked right past me, so I shot him in the back. not a difficult kill, I just emptied my gun into him.

I mean, if I trot right past a dude, pause, and get my chest turned to pink mist, I'd think "fair enough." This dude's all like "you cheating FAGGOT!"

...I always thought the CoD community's tendency to histrionics was exaggerated.

Start using akimbo anything and you'll be the antichrist.

Actually, just play well and you'll still be called the antichrist.

I've never played a cod game and encountered people like this as much as everyone else seems to. Most games I play, no one says anything.

I enjoy the few seconds in Black Ops 2 on Hardcore when you get to hear your opponent after killing them, the piss that comes out of their mouth fuels me to enjoy victory a lot more.

Oh yeah, I do get that when I tomahawk people.

I usually hear the bitching after a game ends. And the losing teams top players start talking shit about their lowest player with a k/d of 5-20

Well, it is kind of frustrating when you have a really good game but still lose and you look and none of your teammates did remotely decent.

Gotta say, at least half of any given "lobby" is dead quiet on any game I've played. It's usually like 2-3 twats who won't shut up. Sometimes literally. Had one where it sounded like a little kid just babbling constantly. Had another one where I think the dude was trash talking everyone but wasn't coherent enough for me to tell.
