finisher: 6 liked the elbow more than the figure four

character development: 9, with that much longevity he had to have some range

Ok before anybody points it out... no, Dusty was never a marvel of skill, and he was a big fat guy. I scored him high in ability and look because they were good for him and his presentation.

He's a fat slob 2/10

Ring moves: 5 (used a limited move set, as did most wrestlers in the 70s to mid-80s, but his opponents sold like champs)
Physique: 3 (not as overweight as Haystacks Calhoun or Hawk Hog)
Finisher: 8 (his opponents treated his elbow smash as if it were lethal)
Promo ability: 10 (quite innovative and chock full of cultural references)
Character depth: 7 (he was a simple rural man who developed the gift of gab)
Overall: 6.6 (33/5)

Trivia: "Flip, Flop, and Fly" is the title of a Big Joe Turner song from the 1950s.

Exactly, I saw this and knew people would give him a low score because he doesn't have a body like Mason Ryan, but he had a LOOK not a physique. Nothing about him would have worked if he looked like Lex Luger.

Sure he didn't do a shit load of moves, maybe just one. But that move, was the fucking shit. And people went nuts for it. Plus his in ring psychology was brilliant and could work amazing memorable matches just doing the bionic elbow.

look/physique: 6
Obviously he was fat, but that was what made him lovable, I don't think he'd have been so famous if he wasn't fat.

finisher: 8
The Bionic Elbow was awesome, and it looked like he killed you.

None better.

character development: 10
The son of a plumber, the whole story was fantastic. His development was probably the best babyface character ever.
