Still going under the rule of not mentioning TNA on its shows/ppvs?

If not, when did it start coming back?

I noticed that its been said regularly lately, so though I'd ask.

Yeah because TOTAL NONSTOP ACTION is a million times better..

Both sound bush league. At least TNA had been established. Does major rebranding ever work?

Rebranding it just seemed so stupid, and I'm guessing it wasn't cheap, don't remember it ever being called Total Nonstop Action though, which is a bit meh if you say it out loud, and it's still referred to as TNA by and large anyway right?

But I don't think they ever actually call it that though, unless it was to plug a spotfest ala "this is total nonstop action" type deal, its always been referred to as just TNA whenever I've seen it.

I dunno.. I haven't watched wrestling since before that company got big and I knew TNA stood for that so they have to have referred to it at some point in time..

Still their name though.. Like saying that WWE name is not World Wrestling Entertainment and just WWE.. It's still their name they just go by the initials..

It was how they differentiated themselves from the other NWA affiliates, think it became just TNA after they split though, for the most part at least.

They'd already established the brand as TNA though, changing it to Impact wrestling was just a waste of money, its a daft name out of context but still not the worst promotion name ever, Wrestle And Romance has that beat.

Actually, WWE is just WWE now. They changed the actual company's name from World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. to WWE Inc. a couple of years ago.
