Have you ever watched a TNA PPV?

I can't say that I ever have, not that I remember.

Theo Dious 03-07-2013 10:03 PM

When they were still doing monthly PPV's, at one point they had a "one cent PPV." I ordered that. Not sure it counts, it was basically a clip show.

Theo Dious 03-07-2013 10:04 PM

Or weekly PPVs or whatever it was.

This for me also.

Juan 03-07-2013 10:11 PM

Nah. I tried to watch the TV show back when they first tried to move to Monday nights and I could only watch like 2 or 3 eps.

mike adamle 03-07-2013 10:27 PM

Watched all the 3 hour ones. Not live or paid for, but I've seen 'em.

Corporate CockSnogger 03-08-2013 04:16 AM

Nope. I've seen the odd clip here and there, and I think I started to stream one one time but turned it off after 5 minutes.

Tommy Gunn 03-08-2013 06:31 AM

I watched one, I think the one after Hogan turned up with fat nWo members, but I honestly can't recall a single match.

loopydate 03-08-2013 07:54 AM

I have a few on DVD that I got as a bundle for $10, but I've never watched one live.

Mike the Metal Ed 03-08-2013 07:56 AM

Yes, but only because we got the weekly PPVs (with about a 6 month delay) on The Wrestling Channel, and current PPVs are free to air on Challenge TV.

Supreme Olajuwon 03-08-2013 07:57 AM

I went to the Lockdown PPV that was in Cincinnati a couple years ago. It was a lot of fun.

Classy and Gassy 03-08-2013 08:10 AM

the PPV in Oshawa Ontario where the crowd shit on the Styles vs shitty UFC guy that looked like angle that was an MMA match or something

Nicky Fives 03-08-2013 09:24 AM

torrented them all.....

James Steele 03-08-2013 09:32 AM

I thought about going to Lock Down in San Antonio, but TNA just doesn't interest me at all.

Waylander 03-08-2013 09:40 AM

I used to watch them all, right up until about 2006. Difference being, they're free in England. Even the old weekly ppvs were broadcast free on the Wrestling Channel at one point.

Emperor Smeat 03-08-2013 01:27 PM

Think maybe 2-3 ppvs but only seen a whole ppv once (the one where Aires won the title).

MoFo 03-08-2013 01:53 PM

Watched a few but none for years.

Last one I saw was when Beer Money and MCMG had that hottt feud, and Angle was facing Jarrett.

MoFo 03-08-2013 01:54 PM

Oh and watched a bit of Victory Road to see Jeff Hardy blasted out on drugs.

The Destroyer 03-08-2013 01:57 PM

Never. Can confidently say I never will either.

The Condor 03-08-2013 02:04 PM

A few friends and I were curious back in the day and Got the first few when it was all they had before a weekly show. The Scott Hall/Ron Killings/Ken Shamrock beginnings. I suppose that counts

Lock Jaw 03-08-2013 02:25 PM

Used to watch them all the time (not paying for them mind you) back when I used to watch TNA regularly, roughly from August 2006-October 2008.

Fox 03-08-2013 02:48 PM

I got suckered in around 05-07 when I thought TNA might become a viable alternative to WWE (this was pre-Hogan/Bischoff, mind you). I think I got the PPV's with the Angle versus Samoa Joe series, and some around the time Christian first showed up and won their World Title.

Fox 03-08-2013 02:50 PM

I should add that I found the first few TNA PPV's I purchased to be well worth it - always a very strong undercard and the main events usually delivered as well. Before the horrible angles of the Bischoff/Hogan regime and the development of lame "stars" like Magnus and Robbie Z, TNA had a pretty great product.

Innovator 03-08-2013 02:53 PM

I used to buy them until Sting beat Samoa Joe and the MEM formed. Then I was out.

Lock Jaw 03-08-2013 03:13 PM

I started watching from roughly the time that Christian turned heel, up to just before the MEM was formed (and Christian left).

mike adamle 03-08-2013 03:52 PM

I think I'm gonna do a top 100 matches of the 3 hour TNA PPV's after Lockdown Sunday. Should be a hoot.
