As far as I can see, there are no other Light-Heavyweight fights on this, or the next 3 cards, so moving somebody up who is already in good shape doesn't seem possible.
Hopefully somebody good is itching to get back in there after a lacklustre performance (looking at Henderson or Evans, maybe), and offers to save the card on short notice, to get back in favour. |

I can't see either of those guys doing it, but it would probably take somebody on that level to "save" the card, with the hometown star being injured.
I'm not sure Brandon Vera would risk taking a fight on short notice, when he's probably still on thin ice, especially with all the cuts they've been making recently. |
Should be able to find a replacement, a lot of LHW's training for fights now, my guess is Phil Davis.

I was thinking davis but he prolly walks around close to 250lbs.. Can he cut that much weight in a week??

Glover vs Mousasi would be excellent.. I know he trains at The Pitt so he's prolly always in great shape but I'm just wondering how big he walks around between fights.. He is a big LHW and his fight is over a month away..

I don't see any major name like Teixera or Davis taking this fight. The last minute travel and jet lag alone would probably be a deterrent.

But this Mousasi/Gustoffson fight has def title contention and both those guys are on the verge..
I don't think this main event is beneath either of them.. You are prolly right about the fact that it's last minute.. p.s. you should also consider who "found" Glover and how he never turned down fights.. |

So after some research, Latifi is a 5'7" fire plug and an elite wrestler.. I'm sure it's intimidating getting thrown into a mainevent in yr first UFC against a former champ, in yr home country, but, Musasi has had the most trouble against wrestlers.. Also, Latifi is like 9" shorter than Gus..
