First pic of the WM29 set hits the net

This looks like it has the potential to be on the of better WM sets in some time.

For the record, this isn't the "first" pic of the set. There have been a few floating around for a few weeks now.

Anyway, looks awesome either way

ClockShot 04-03-2013 02:14 PM

I know the weather is supposed to be nice, but I was concerned with 'Mania is New York and outdoors that some kind of canopy would be used if inclimate weather was in the forecast for this sunday.

Then again, Lady Liberty could double as one big lightning rod.

Razzamajazz 04-03-2013 02:15 PM

then the rock could truly call himself the most electrifying man on the planet

Lock Jaw 04-03-2013 02:21 PM

Sweet color bars bro

Hanso Amore 04-03-2013 02:23 PM

Mark Henry should grab a diva and scale the set.

CWK 04-03-2013 02:44 PM

Looks good just hope they thought of a guttering system to funnel rain water out of the top of that canopy if it were to pour rain.

Also I think it would be awesome to see pyro shooting out of the torch of the Statue of Liberty

ROFL

slik 04-04-2013 01:43 PM

I would totally mark if Lady Liberties torch shot out fire during Kane's entrance.

Providence Peep 04-04-2013 08:10 PM

Who from TPWW has a ticket for Mania?

Juan 04-04-2013 08:25 PM

Droford, I think.

Providence Peep 04-04-2013 08:25 PM

Me too. So stoked!

Juan 04-04-2013 08:26 PM

Oh ok. Cool

Providence Peep 04-04-2013 08:27 PM

Yeah, I'm 29 rows up off the floor, though. I hope that's decent.

Curd 04-04-2013 08:28 PM

The set designers were smart to place a covering above the ring to pool at least some of the heat from the air-blowing ring posts. :y:

Razzamajazz 04-04-2013 08:29 PM

enjoy staring at the back of someone's sign all night

I hate the saying somebody has won the internet, but you have won the internet.

I look at it and think "potential for collapse."

I thought it was 55% chance of rain.

Me and Xero are in the same row (10) and same section (118) as Peep.

This is row 30 of the section we're all in from some concert.

I think the view won't be too bad..

I know what you mean, that's happened to me. People really should have some consideration and not hold up their signs during the matches. Security shouldn't allow it. Should I bother to bring signs since I'm sitting so far away?

Droford 04-04-2013 08:49 PM

I meant me and zero are in the same row, and the same section as you..we're all in 118

What are the odds, huh? But you're a lot closer than I am.

The email I got said signs were being limited to 2ft x 1ft. That's rather small..I doubt the enforce it, if they do there will be pissed off people. I'm not bringing a sign cause I feel I'm too far away..

I didn't get that e-mail. Can you PM it to me?

Razzamajazz 04-04-2013 08:59 PM

2x6 is a pretty awkward dimension for a sign

Xero 04-04-2013 09:26 PM

Kind of nervous about those pillars holding up the rig above the ring. Hope they aren't as big as last year, otherwise will likely ask to be moved since I'm pretty sure we're directly diagonal from the ring.

How can we be asked to be moved? Would they let us?

Xero 04-04-2013 09:31 PM

Apparently last year people had issues and the staff were trained on what to do. Apparently a lot asked and wound up in a section reserved for production. No harm in asking if there is obstruction and I absolutely am prepared to do so.

Some nosebleeds are available for like 80 bucks.

That's good to know. I will have to keep it in mind. Also, I'm taking binoculars, because I think I might need them.

Last year
http://wrestling.insidepulse.com/wor...et-500x375.jpg
The supports look the same as they do now, before they added the palm tree covers. This year they're covered as well but it doesn't seem to be as obnoxious as the palm trees were

Droford 04-04-2013 10:01 PM

Apparently if your seats are considered limited view/obstructed it says so on the ticket

https://fbcdn-sphotos-h-a.akamaihd.n...20046119_n.jpg

Mine does not say that.

Yeah mine doesn't, either. Who's ticket is that in the pic?
