I kind of wish they went with that last one. That would've been really cool.

Yeah if Tatanka or Jay Strongbow were in the WWE title picture.

Ruien 04-16-2013 09:35 PM

Last one looks amazing. First one would have been okay but to many people would have bitched.

I also enjoy the current one.

Jordan 04-16-2013 09:45 PM

The last one would have been perfect

#1-norm-fan 04-16-2013 09:45 PM

First one looks fine but it feels "second tier". Like it would be good for the IC or US title.

I think the last one is my favorite.

Frank Drebin 04-16-2013 09:57 PM

New one looks solid. I like how the side plates will change depending on who has it.

If I had to pick one if these, Yah, last one. I miss the winged eagle design and it would be a nice nod to that. Not sure about the feathers on the side though.

slik 04-16-2013 10:14 PM

I think they realized this one was such a bad idea they just quit before the full sketch stage:

PrettyCool 04-16-2013 10:16 PM

3rd one is awesome

dronepool 04-16-2013 10:51 PM

The last one is the only good one, the first top 2 look like toys.

PullMyFinger 04-16-2013 11:33 PM

First one looks pretty pimp as fuck. That would've been awesome if they unveiled that, but the new one is okay, only because my boy The Rock designed it.

Kalyx triaD 04-16-2013 11:57 PM

The Rock didn't design it.

slik 04-17-2013 12:07 AM

lol @ The Rock designed it.

Arashi Kage 04-17-2013 12:12 AM

I don't like the over the top designs that WWE tend to use for the last few years. It's like they are trying too hard.

They should stick with something classy which looks to have some prestige to it (like the early to mid 90's WWF title).

Obviously the WWE designed it, but I'm sure the Rock gave his stamp of approval on it. I highly doubt someone of his caliber would've bothered to walk around with a garbage belt, like the spinner trash or any other ridiculously absurd design. I don't blame him either, imagine you're a Hollywood star, big time paparazzi behind you, the media behind you, and you walk around with some garbage that gets you ridiculed in every form of media? Yeah, so the Rock did play a huge role in it.

PullMyFinger 04-17-2013 12:21 AM

Btw, for the record, anyone saying the winged eagle is the best, is just beating the usual dead horse of the safe internet answer so everyone can agree. It's like people saying Heyman is a genius.

screech 04-17-2013 12:22 AM

Pretty sure Rock didn't even have it with him on his talk show appearances (some of them, anyway) leading to WM.

Probably smart too in retrospect, after they honestly had him lose at WM...which is still mind boggling.

screech 04-17-2013 12:23 AM

Mainly it invalidates your entire argument.

PullMyFinger 04-17-2013 12:24 AM

Not really. No, not at all actually.

This means nothing since he barely carried it outside WWE. Why would it bother him to carry it if he isn't carrying it?

You do realize you're feeding the troll right?

screech 04-17-2013 12:29 AM

So how does that not make your point moot, exactly?

PullMyFinger 04-17-2013 12:29 AM

Well, what if the event came and he needed to? I rest my case. The End.

Emperor Smeat 04-17-2013 12:29 AM

Belt was being designed during Punk's reign but probably goes as far back as The Miz's reign since that's when the rumors of a new belt started.

Only reason it never debuted with Punk was because he hated how heavy the belt was when they showed it to him a few times.

Yes. Been a while. Need my fix.

It's a disagreement about my comment? My intent isn't to troll if that's the case, I just thought the first belt was cool and the Rock playing a huge role in the new make of the new title resulted in a decent one, and one that is far light years better than the last one. A design that was made perhaps due to the implication of the Rock and the media coverage.

EDIT:
For the record, if me being a troll is due to the fact that I refuse to go with "safe replies" on here and instead choose to speak my opinion of what I like, dislike, or what I think is up in a topic, then wow, so be it. I would think trolling is being someone who diverts trash and purposely writes a bunch of nonsense.

I expected better.

lol @ WWE caring about a part-time guy not liking a belt he barely carried outside their shows

Whatever bro. Well if it makes you happy, I can be like the rest of the posters on here and say, "the last one is better I agree, it reminds me of the winged eagle belt, which is the best belt ever!"

Peace out.

Kalyx triaD 04-17-2013 12:39 AM

The Rock had nothing to do with the title design. Stop believing in this.

For the record, just to clarify:

1. I was never a fan of the "spinner" belt and felt it was dated.
2. It has never reminded me of the "winged eagle" belt, nor do I recall anyone ever saying this.

I'd be happy if you'd just become a productive member of the forum and not an asshat. Between this nonsense, and you're stupid "cool character" bullshit that was closed, you've proven that thus far you lack the ability to do so.

You can like whatever belt or wrestler you choose. It's just absurd you think that:

A) Rock had anything to do with designing the belt and

B) He would care what the media thought of it/him carrying it when he almost never had it with him on appearances.

Not sure how you're missing the problem.

screech 04-17-2013 12:55 AM

Realized I never answered: I like the second one and the last one.

Though the latter doesn't scream "top guy" to me. Maybe if the eagle was gold?

PMF is acting so stupid, it's difficult to tell whether it's legit or intentional.

Shisen Kopf 04-17-2013 10:20 AM

This is the best belt in the history of rasslin.

Just tape over TV and replace in with world in marker.

They're all fucking horrible.

Arrogance 04-17-2013 11:48 AM

I can see why they went with the current design, those are all dreadful.
