If he is healthy, as some rumors circulated around WM time, I assume he will be brought back to up the fire power in the main event scene. Since CM Punk is MIA for a little bit and The Rock is hurt.

Christian isn't a main event draw though.

If Christian comes back, that takes a push away from someone else who might actually turn out to be a legit main eventer.

Most reports/dirtsheet news involved him showing up after Mania although never said when exactly. Also stated he was returning as a face so probably is going to get involved with either Barrett or Cesaro depending on which of their feuds ends first.

I love Christian, but I'm not really sure where he fits in the grand scheme of things. He's amazing in the ring and great on the mic (although as a face he like never cuts promos...weird), but I'm not immediately excited for his return. I want him back, don't get me wrong, and I'll be happy when he has a place, but ever since Daniel Bryan became wormy heel World Champion, it feels like Christian has sort of been a bit directionless. I really think he should have been given a bit longer as the IC Champion last year. His loss to The Miz didn't really help The Miz and derailed the IC Title a bit, in my opinion.

Christian returning to compete in the World Title scene would make a lot of sense, just because he would work so well with Ziggler, Swagger and Del Rio, and there is some sort of interest factor in each combination there.
