Has anyone ever had an astronaut gimmick?
 

Hey guys, long time lurker, just started posting today. Anywho, sorry if this is in the wrong forum, I hope the mods can move it to the appropriate one.

So as the title states, has anyone ever had an astronaut gimmick? I feel like it could probably get over huge. They could have huge rocket ship entrances and such.

I think it was a year ago now. I don't know exactly which independent companies he did it in, I just know it was used in PWG.

Didn't Konnan come up with the whole gimmick / costume himself? Then quit because he thought they should give him a cushy contract for inventing the character and being more popular than Hulk Hogan?

Hardcore Holly was meant to have a astronaut gimmick, a former wwe writer talked about it in a interview. The story was that Hardcore Holly would become the first pro wrestler in Space. He was going to be renamed Spacecore Holly and was going to have a pet Monkey. He said Vince was the one who came up the idea and was really excited for it. He had shirts and mech being made and everything, before Holly even know what was going to happen. Then Vince decided not the go through with it and the idea was scarped.

I hope to God that story was NOT true.

Yeah I heard about Spacecore Holly too. Crash was gonna be called Spaceboy and they were gonna rassle on the moon.

the writer said Vince had alot of "Ideas" thank god he said, they never went through with any of them.
