TNA Slammiversary **SPOILER** (As if anyone cares)

So at the last TNA iMPACT Tapings Sting defeated Matt Morgan in a #1 Contender for TNA World Heavyweight Title Match at Slammiversary.

How many times is TNA gonna let Sting main event their PPVs? Let somebody different get a shot for once please.

are also on sale for all your TNA fan needs(if there is any here)

Dixie seems to think so, but I have yet to tell her the cold hard truth of it

SlickyTrickyDamon 04-27-2013 03:48 PM

It has no knees. Pretty accurate since she has been sucking Hogan's dick for 4 years.

Heisenberg 04-27-2013 03:50 PM

She also gives him cookies and contracts, Hogan loves cookies and contracts

Come on dude. She might not be the brightest, but she's elegant and classy. There's no need for that type of trash talk on these boards dude.

I also don't really get why he defeated Matt Morgan (granted I only watch the PPV's (illegally.)) What has Morgan done lately to be put in this position?

Skippord 04-27-2013 04:26 PM

Sting should always be World Champion of every company. He is the best.

Rammsteinmad 04-27-2013 04:48 PM

In all fairness, better Sting than Jeff Hardy.

I am totally getting this and making her 69 my Vickie Gurrerro figure DON'T JUDGE ME.

Heisenberg 04-27-2013 05:07 PM

Her control over wrestling is increasing, she is a smart demon in disguise. She haunts my dreams

Razzamajazz 04-27-2013 05:28 PM

was at walmart today and saw 3 behemoths waddling around with identical aces and eights shirts.

Rasslin' Fan 29 04-27-2013 09:31 PM

Gotta be honest I'm just not very excited about watching Bubba Ray Dudley defend the TNA World Heavyweight Championship against Sting headline one of their 4 PPVs of the year.

#1-norm-fan 04-27-2013 09:44 PM

So apparently that will make the 4th straight year that Sting is in the World Title match at Slammiversary.

He is 0-3

So I guess he's putting guys over at least. (Not that the rub lasts because... well... lolTNA.)

Curd 04-27-2013 09:48 PM

Jakks lovingly recreated Dixie's upper am flab!

Purgatory 04-27-2013 09:54 PM

Does she come with kneepads? I mean, it doesn't make sense not to include them.

Heisenberg 04-27-2013 10:04 PM

Maybe Dixie will bring back this guy

http://24.media.tumblr.com/2353022cf...gmrko1_500.jpg

Had an undefeated streak and got beat by Storm and BAM! no more cookies and contracts for Crimson

Purgatory 04-27-2013 10:06 PM

Nope, I think he's in OVW now.

Not to mention him main eventing their even bigger show (Bound For Glory) from 2006-2009.

And you can't say he's putting guys over at that show, he only lost to AJ Styles in 2009.

OVW is the farm-territory of TNA I believe.

Purgatory 04-27-2013 10:34 PM

that's what I figured they were doing now.

Rasslin' Fan 29 04-28-2013 08:38 AM

I really hope Bully Ray isn't still champ by Slammiversary. But I guess it's inevitable with the Aces and 8s going on and him being the leader.

XL 04-28-2013 08:42 AM

Yeah, it's Sting's "fault" that Bully is champ/As&8s are "running riot", so he personally has to make good.

Rasslin' Fan 29 04-28-2013 10:53 AM

I'm guessing Sting will lose and we'll get Ray vs. Hulk at BFG.

Wolfpack423 04-28-2013 01:51 PM

I don't see what the big deal is. It's a big match for Slammiversary, and Bully Ray will look like an even more credible champion by beating a veteran. I am in the minority that has liked TNA better than WWE for the last two years. I like Dixie Carter. I am looking forward to Slammiversary just as I have for each TNA PPV for the last couple of years. People act like there's no such thing as a good match in TNA. There have been several MOTY candidates. THey actually focus on their women's division, have been re-building the X-Division with former stars and newer stars, and I really like their main event scene. You might not, but that's what I think.

Wolfpack423 04-28-2013 01:53 PM

It's going to be AJ Styles vs. Bully Ray at Bound for Glory for the TNA Title. Styles cannot get a title shot until then. They will work towards that. Styles is going to have an Uncensored 1997 moment at Slammiversary where he just beats up all of Aces and Eights.

Yeah but that's the guy that should have been put over in the BFG main event, and he was. Kurt Angle and Jeff Jarrett were established, and Sting dropped the title to Abyss not even a month later, and lost it to Angle two weeks later. Though Samoa Joe lost, that match was really good, and Sting still put over Joe without him winning. He didn't beat him cleanly. They were forming the Main Event Mafia a week later, and they should have had the title for the storyline. MEM when it was Sting, Angle, Nash, Booke T, and Steiner was a great faction.

Wolfpack423 04-28-2013 01:59 PM

Everybody is so busy trying to nitpick TNA that they don't seem to realize WWE has far more problems at this point. I don't know what happened to that product.

Volare 04-28-2013 02:42 PM

Yeah, but the problems are more "derp" based than anything.

erickman 04-28-2013 03:25 PM

i wish they had abyss james park going against bully ray, they always work well togather.

Nah, I agree with you for the most part.

My issue with TNA is their generally poor booking. Most everything that happens outside of the squared circle is goofy and tends to not make sense. (Aces and 8s has been a consistent improvement in that, but they're drawing heavily from a medoicre TV show for inspiration.) Booking is getting better, slowly, but it's still not where it needs to be.

The matches themselves are oft-times amazing, including the Knockouts (depending on who is wrestling of course) but that is where the vast majority of the quality TNA brings to the table starts and stops.

James Steele 04-29-2013 02:40 PM

TNA has very little to make me emotionally invested in the product to watch on a regular basis and pay to see their pay-per-views. They are better, but it is still average. I also can't stand the fact that Hulk Hogan is at the center of every major storyline.

Yeah... right after they bring back Amazing Red, who was supposed to be this guy's brother and how he got the dumbass name of Crimson to begin with.

Speaking of "bring back", remember how over the likes of MCMG, Jay Lethal, and the muthafuckin Pope were? Yeah, if TNA let the guys I just mentioned fall off the earth, I don't see this guy being more than a footnote.

Heisenberg 05-01-2013 12:03 AM

Jay Lethal was the shit with the Macho Man gimmick and I guess his other stuff. Does anyone watch ROH to update on his activity?

Rasslin' Fan 29 05-01-2013 07:26 AM

He kept trying to challenge for the ROH World title in September-October but Jim Cornette wouldn't allow it until Jay showed a "mean streak." So now Jay shows heel tendancies. He faced Kevin Steen for the title in October, it ended in a no contest because Steen spit on Jay's mom in the crowd and Jay went apeshit. After the match Cornette tried to calm Jay down but Jay attacked him and kayfabe sent Jim out of the company. Since then Jay hasn't done much of note, he had another shot at the ROH World title and lost at the 11th anniversary show.

Rasslin' Fan 29 05-10-2013 08:56 AM

So now the match is a No Holds Barred match and if Sting loses he doesn't get another shot at the Title again. Which means Sting's probably gonna win :/

SlickyTrickyDamon 05-10-2013 09:15 AM

Nobody cares except you for making a thread about it.

Rasslin' Fan 29 05-10-2013 09:58 AM

It got more responses than any of your shitty theme tournament threads.

MIZantine Empire 05-10-2013 05:40 PM

I will give tna this much... I dig that in ring cam. Although the ref looks like a minion from despicable me, and often times it shows the empty half of the arena (reminds me of how wcw would bunch everyone together on one side to look sold out)
