The ultimate goal of the angle is to pair up Kaitlyn and AJ, maybe with AJ helping Kaitlyn cheat to retain the Divas title and therefore turn Kaitlyn heel. As far as the Big E rumor, he has nothing to gain from spending his camera time goofing off with Divas.

And if this were the Attitude Era, then the "mystery admirer" would definitely be AJ Lee, the official nymphomaniac of WWE whose sexual lust know no boundaries. Dr. Shelby could then explain CRA-J's neuroticism on her unfulfilled sex drive and prescribe X hours of sex every day.
