It was horrendous. Seriously, what was he thinking? He is not funny. He's a 13-time world champion for Christ's sake. He needs to stop insulting our intelligence. HE doesn't deserve a free pass for his good deeds.

Maybe....Just maybe, he's cutting that promo for all the little kids that do find it funny, and make up, ya know, the majority of WWE's current audience.

I didn't find the promo that bad Dave.

It actually goes to a serious problem with Cena. He makes his opponent not look like a credible threat, ie a nobody. Basically, when Cena goes over, it means he beat a nobody so why should the fans care? And should he not go over, he lost to a nobody, so why should the fans care about him?

You have great standards, d00d.

We are not the target audience. How many times does this need to be sadi?

For a guy as good as he is, he can be very very underwhelming.

Felt like typing the last post.

Anyways, feeling pretty detached from RAW, will still check it out if time permits, but I'm not digging the Cena/Ryback feud. Sometimes it takes a few boring segments for them to wake up and realize that they need to have other shit happen.

Starting to abuse DVR use on the RAW show. Gone are the days of watching the last few minutes of w/e fuckin' USA show was on before RAW.

I'm no John Cena hater, but some of his promos are just dreadful. I get that I'm not the target audience, but Jesus, some if it just sucks.

Yeah. Unless it's a serious promo I normally cringe when Cena has the mic. When someone makes Cena angry he can tear the house down with his words alone, but any other time, just keep him away from the mic please. Don't you agree, Juan Cena?

It was okay. Not his best work by far but nothing that made me want to cringe.

As for Cena's promo, it was pretty corny. No more corny and cringe-worthy than a lot of the stuff The Rock has done in his promos since coming back though. (Kung Pao Bitch, that terrible standup act about the crackhead who stole his car or whatever, "We Will Rock You" karaoke...)

No, he did a song that repeated "Cleveland Rocks" for the cheap pops. At the end he just did karaoke to "We Will Rock You" and it was awkward as fuck.

Ooo Cena, way to trash talk, Ryback. That was pathetic! He sounded like a Boy Scout doing a campfire sketch and avoiding the gray area ("running out screaming like a little girl") instead of saying that b-word which would had more impact.
