Would Sin Cara work better as a heel?
 

I think he would. Everyone on these boards seemed to like Sin Cara negro more than they liked the regular Sin Cara. Just have him show off some heel tendencies, he doesn't even need to change anything else.

Maybe give him a mouth hole so he can spit out mist or something like Tajiri.

No. Because he's the Ahmed Johnson of masked wrestlers in the WWE.

In that he's CONSTANTLY injured.

He deffo needs a mouthpiece. Simply going flippity-flip isn't going to connect with an audience.

Turning him heel would be the perfect excuse for brining in a manager. Something as basic as running an angle where Sin Cara is tired of being ignored and disrespcted by the WWE Universe after giving up his life as a top guy in Mexico.

It would be much easier for him to get over as a heel. I have said it before, and will say it again.... a dude with a full face mask will never get truly over as a face because you can't "see" his emotions/feelings.

I miss Hunico and Camacho. I liked the gimmick and as a tag team

The premise sounds good. The notion, "I quit my job a few years ago for THIS?" would really be a diss against the WWE Universe.

Sin Cara will never rise to Rey's level for three reasons
1) He can't speak english or at least can't speak it very well
2) He still hasn't adjusted to the WWE style despite like 2 years to do so
3) Like someone else said, masks are fine but if you can't express emotion then people just won't like you

Sin Cara might get heat by placing a metal plate under his mask every match and headbutting his opponents to win.

I do not buy this shit about Sin Cara not being able to connect with audiences or not being able to adapt to the WWE style. He just needs a proper program with a heel that matters and a few matches that people care about.

A respectful series with Chris Jericho would do wonders for the guy.

Yeah I agree. Just give him something to do. He was fun in his tag team with Rey, before it dissolved into nothing and he was made meaningless again. Also, give the guy a fucking titan tron vid, I remember at the SmackDown! tapings I went to a few months ago I was laughing my ass off with my lil bro at his Tron, dudes just pointing at shit and standing around in a random building.

That could have something to do with it. Zeb Colter is very popular because of his viewpoints. Whereas Sin Cara gets crickets when he enters the ring.

They should bring back the Mexicools and have Sin Cara get run over by the Juan Deere

I would have him join the Mexicools, a group of Mexicans should be able to get over if one can't. Just have them disguise their weaknesses and let others take over in the group when those are their strengths.

Sin Cara also botches a lot, and there is that small thing with him always getting injured. Guy so far has been a huge, huge failure in my opinion.

I also remember when the whole Sin Cara/Sin Cara Negro thing was kicking off, their in-ring encounters were incredible to watch, so incredibly timed spots and great chemistry between the two. The really made you think that when they finally have a match they would put on a performance that we've never seen in the WWE before.

Then they finally had the match, and it was basically huracanranas and arm drags, and shit loads of "boring" chants. :(

Give Sin Cara a faux-Power Ranger gimmick in which he knocks down buildings while fighting Godzilla-type monsters on the Titantron. :)

Then have him interfere in matches in which the heel is winning, as he cannot let the heel win due to being what the announcers call an "agent of good"... :lol:

You can't go wrong with the La Parka/Kai En Tai gimmick of getting dubbed in voiceovers.

And also stop the damned mood lighting for his matches. You ever notice the few times they DIDN'T do that, the botches decreased? I mean, not counting the times it was Hunico under the hood. We get he's supposed to be a big deal, but I'm wondering if at least SOME of his slip ups are caused by legit difficulty seeing.
