Tazz Dan's 5:17am on a Wednesday morning random thoughts thread.

Zack Ryder would be in Dolph Ziggler's spot if he didn't have the injury angle with Kane.

RVD will return to WWE at Extreme Rules to cover Ziggles being off the show.

Billy Gunn would be a multi-time WHC if the belt was around during his time.

Kurt Angle will have one last run with WWE before he retires.

So will Jeff Hardy.

Mr Kennedy would be a top player in WWE if the Orton incident never happened.

I only believe two of those to be actually true. Feel free to speculate.

RVD will return to WWE at Extreme Rules to cover Ziggles being off the show. HOPE NOT.

Billy Gunn would be a multi-time WHC if the belt was around during his time. AGREE.

Kurt Angle will have one last run with WWE before he retires. WE CAN ONLY HOPE

So will Jeff Hardy. WE CAN ONLY HOPE NOT.

Mr Kennedy would be a top player in WWE if the Orton incident never happened. HE WAS A ONE TRICK PONY, NEVER EVOLVED, AND ALWAYS GOT HURT. GOTTA CALL BULLSHIT ON THIS ONE

Tazz Dan 05-14-2013 04:01 PM

Yeah, the first one is 100% bullshit.

Not a bad effort James Steele, not a bad effort ;)

Kurt Angle will have one last run with WWE before he retires.

Both are true.

That would be glorious.

It's the Hardy and Angle ones surely?

I'm guessing these are the ones you actually believe. I went back and forth between Hardy and Angle though.

#1-norm-fan 05-14-2013 05:33 PM

Actually, I take that back. Angle is more likely.

#1-norm-fan 05-14-2013 05:35 PM

Kennedy would have been huge assuming he could stay healthy.

Emperor Smeat 05-14-2013 06:23 PM

How big of a run would you count for Angle (and Jeff)?

1) Similar to Booker who has a couple of matches but stays on tv primarily as a non-active wrestler.
2) Similar to Jericho who has several feuds but more towards helping younger wrestlers.
3) Similar to the Rock where he goes right back to the high-mid card or main event scene but with a lot more matches and feuds. Maybe a potential title reign or two.

Billy Gunn probably could have been WHC worthy had his "King" run been a lot better. Kurt won the tournament a year later and managed to keep that momentum strong leading into his first WWE title reign.

#1-norm-fan 05-14-2013 06:49 PM

Momentum is not really a big deal when it comes to the WHC though (Hi, Dolph) so if it was used the way they use it now, they wouldn't have hesitated one bit to throw it on him.

James Steele 05-14-2013 07:33 PM

Hell, I bet they would have given Road Dogg a run too.

A run is a run. Like a rumble through to Mania or something like that. Or even back for one PPV in a mini feud. Whatever you want to make if it. 'One more match' could have been another way for me to put it, it's open purely for your own discretion on it.

Savio 05-14-2013 09:17 PM

Problem with billy is he was thrust into a feud with the rock who buried him on the mic

So is that a "yes" to one of those?

Tazz Dan 05-14-2013 10:14 PM

Maybe :shifty:

#1-norm-fan 05-14-2013 11:22 PM

Hmm. Then I will continue to assume my guesses were correct.

Tazz Dan 05-15-2013 03:46 AM

Continue to assume away my friend.
