CBS had that show already and it flopped

Lock Jaw 05-16-2013 02:21 AM

I like Once Upon a Time, but definitely think that this spinoff will negatively affect/dilute "the brand".

Tazz Dan 05-16-2013 03:46 AM

Rebel Wilson is gold. Anything she does will be good.

Tazz Dan 05-16-2013 03:47 AM

This new Michael J Fox Show sounds a bit shaky.

Yeah but it had Rob Schneider so it wasn't a fair test of the concept.

Not excited about any new shows except for SHIELD.

ClockShot 05-16-2013 06:58 AM

Steal my thunder will you, Slicky?

Triple Naitch 05-16-2013 08:50 AM

Every channel is now required to have a 1+ shows about a parent moving back in with their child.

Corporate CockSnogger 05-16-2013 10:04 AM

Will watch the shit out of anything with Sarah Michelle Gellar. Robin Williams is just a huge bonus though.

Corporate CockSnogger 05-16-2013 10:06 AM

How's the second series of Once Upon A Time been? I stuck with the first all the way through but it had so many faults, mostly being that like 4 of the main 5 characters were all awful.

Lock Jaw 05-16-2013 01:04 PM

I think the second "season" was much better.

Skippord 05-16-2013 02:14 PM

so excited about that awful looking Sleepy Hollow show

Juan 05-16-2013 05:44 PM

Brooklyn Nine-Nine has an awesome cast. Will check it out

ClockShot 05-24-2013 03:25 PM

Since the TV season ended last night, I guess I'll put in my picks on what I'll try watching for next season.

Definately will check out the The Blacklist. Spader can hold down a show rather well. However, I'm waiting for Ubisoft to hit NBC with a lawsuit since they got Splinter Cell: Blacklist coming out.

Fox has been a dead network to me since House went off the air. But I'll give Sleepy Hollow a shot. Ain't nothing cooler than a gun totin', axe wielding Headless Horseman.

And like all the other comic book nerds, I'll give Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D a few episodes of my time. Kinda wish it had a little extra star power to go along with Ming-Na Wen, but I'll take what I can get.

Corporate CockSnogger 05-24-2013 08:08 PM

I haven't actually looked at much of the new stuff, but o the things I know about...

I'll def be watching Agents of SHIELD because even regardless of it being part of the marvel universe, I'd watch anything with Joss Whedon's name on.

Gonna check out The Crazy Ones solely for Sarah Michelle Gellar. After seeing the trailer it just looks like a "hey look at Robin Williams acting silly" thing and not much else but whatever, I'll see what it's like at least.

Also Intelligence looks pretty fun and has Josh Holloway so yeah that was always gonna have my attention.

Skippord 05-24-2013 09:33 PM

definitely watch that Sleepy Hollow show, it looks like the most bizarre and stupid thing ever

Skippord 05-24-2013 09:38 PM

I had not heard of this Josh Holloway show until just now, but I am on board

ALSO HE SAID "DOC" IN THE TRAILER

Corporate CockSnogger 05-25-2013 08:38 AM

Yeah I'd heard nothing about it either until the trailer for it was suggested after the trailer for The Crazy Ones. I think I'd like it more if it was more sci-fi and a bit less secret service agent guy. There's like a million of those.

whiteyford 05-25-2013 08:57 AM

I genuinely thought this was a spoof thread reading some of the write ups.

ClockShot 05-25-2013 05:36 PM

Mariska Hargitay signed a new deal to come back to Law & Order: SVU for a 15th season.

SPOILER: show
I guess she's gonna survive now when next season starts.

CSL 05-25-2013 08:04 PM

Enlisted and Gang Related (John Locke and RZA on the same team? c'mon son) were my favourite trailers for all of the new shows, thought everything else looked pretty meh. Fairly sure Intelligence will be cancelled after like 3 episodes. Will probs check out Brooklyn Nine Nine from day one because of Andre Braugher and Terry Crews, don't mind Andy Samberg either.

CSL 05-25-2013 08:05 PM

then I noticed that list only mentions like one of those shows :o

Droford 05-26-2013 03:22 AM

If shield was on NBC there might have been a chance for sierra hotel India echo Lima delta having a cameo as some bad guys

ClockShot 05-31-2013 01:58 PM

NBC renews Hannibal for a 2nd, 13 episode season.

ClockShot 06-02-2013 02:12 PM

Anyone here gonna give "The Killing" another try tonight?

Skippord 06-03-2013 02:45 AM

No, fuck that show

ClockShot 06-05-2013 07:42 PM

After 3 seasons, Showtime's "The Borgias" will be coming to an end next week.

ClockShot 06-06-2013 06:15 PM

FX cancels Brand X.

No surprise.

Season 4 of Eastbound and Down will be it's last.

Juan 06-06-2013 06:32 PM

I thought season 3 was supposed to be the last season? Awesome news tho

There needs to be a serious cut back on characters I think.

Lock Jaw 07-09-2013 11:57 AM

So, in terrible news:

Danny Glover will only be appearing in five of the thirteen Community episodes in the next season. So we have Dan Harmon back, but Troy will be pretty much gone.

Skippord 07-09-2013 06:13 PM

I would totally watch Danny Glover on Community

Triple Naitch 07-09-2013 06:15 PM

They should have Danny fill in for Donald in the episodes he's gonna miss and just act like nothing's changed. It would be brilliant.

Lock Jaw 07-09-2013 06:46 PM

That is what is happening. Danny Glover is appearing in 5/13 episodes where Donald is not available.

ClockShot 07-10-2013 04:45 PM

Nerds rejoice. Summer Glau is on board for a recurring role for season 2 of Arrow.
