What was your fav Attitude Era feud/moment/ or match??
For me it would have to be the Moment when Mick Foley
was tossed from the top of the cell through the table, then the sick fuck got back on top of the cage and was choke slammed through it. |
The 6 Man Hell In A Cell Match was the pinnacle of the attitude era for me. Probably the greatest match during the era as well.
|
Probably a moment that wasn't actually all that great, and was in fact a mid carder moment that was pretty stupid such as Al Snow eating his dog or the Val Venis "choppy choppy your pee pee", because that'd be a really hilarious and original answer.

Those Venis segments were some of my favorites growing up

But I got more of a kick out of The Big Boss Man showing up at Big Show's dad's funeral.

Agreed, it was HUGE when Shane made the fast count and Taker became champ that night.
|
Most of Summerslam 98 really, as it was the 2nd WWE PPV I'd ever seen as we'd only just got cable. The 1st PPV I ever watched live was Summerslam 96 at a friends house when I was 12.
Anyway, otherwise to be more specific, I'd say The Rock's 1st title win, or that 6 man Armageddon HIAC from 2000. |
Ken Shamrock-Owen Hart feud from '98. Dungeon Match and Lions Den were different and fun. Good stuff.
|
Feud: Rock/Austin. Can't go wrong with that one.
Moment: Bret Hart's post-WrestleMania 13 promo. I know the Attitude Era didn't start until some months later, but that promo laid the groundwork for what would become one of the greatest storylines in the history of the business (heel Bret Hart as the "Canadian Hero"). Match: The original Hell in a Cell match featuring HBK/Undertaker. |
That time when the two people did the thing in the match on the show was my favorite moment.

the first Kane and undertaker feud

Imagine anyone but JR calling that milk moment, and it loses so much.
|
"That's...a milk truck!...but what is it doing here in the Raw Zone? "
|
Mick Foley winning the WWF Championship for the first time. I just wish JR could have called it instead of Michael Cole.

One of my fav moments (I have many from that era) was when shamrock took that chair shot from the rock, full force across his face/head.. Loved the crowd and how they had a genuine "oh fuck" moment

I'm going to characterize the attitude era as beginning the RAW after SummerSlam 1997 (HBK turning heel leading to the beginning of DeGeneration X) and ending at Survivor Series 2001 (WWF defeating The Alliance). So that being said here we go...
Feud: Mick Foley v. Triple H. Their matches in 97 were really good, their matches in 2000 were even better and their feud when Foley was commissioner was very fun as well. Match: Shawn Michaels v. The Undertaker (Hell in a Cell Match for the Number 1 Contendership to the WWF World Heavyweight Championship, WWF In Your House 18: Badd Blood) Moment: The Millennium Clock runs out thus starting the first episode of Raw is Jericho! |
