Worth the trade Xbox for PS3?
 

I've been thinking the past few days on whether or not I should just trade in all my 360 stuff and grab a PS3 for abit...

Those who have me on Xbox Live have maybe noticed that "Funk Bro" rarely goes online anymore. This is down to me having a badass PC now and not really having a need for the Xbox, other than for exclusives (which i've pretty much had all of).

Looking at the list of exclusives for PS3 has kinda made me feel like i've missed out this gen, with the only PS3 game i've really played and completed being MGS4.

With E3 coming up and a shed load of games being announced for the new consoles, I think completing some of the big PS3 titles will remove some of my biasses towards Sony, and give me excitement for their E3 announcements.

Hopefully this will clean the sheet a little on me favouring Xbox.

Go for it. It's worth checking out Demons Souls, the Uncharted Trilogy, Ni No Kuni, Valkyria Chronicles, Heavy Rain, 3D Dot Game Heroes and to a lesser extent Infamous and Little Big Planet.

I'd also look into Plus since they are bombarding us with games this year, in Europe at least.

Lot of good titles on PS3 to try before the next gen comes out and neither system is backwards compatible again.

Rock 'n Roll man. Lots of good exclusives on the PS3 end. Grab Killzone 2 and take it from there. Infamous is pretty good if you're looking for a sandbox superhero game.

Also, if you got a any playstation memory cards lying around, grab a memory card adapter. Load your PS2 saves into your PS3 and you're good to go.

Are you interested in PS3 exclusives? If yes, go for it. If no, then why make the change?

Think i'm going to do it. Not sure what games i'll get just yet. My gf will love Heavy Rain, so that's a certain. I've always been interested in uncharted so it'll probably be that...

works out i'll have enough for the console and around 8 games.
