So... about Josh Mathews
 

Anyone else finding his outbursts recently to be really... well weird? Seems like he just turned heel out of nowhere and is trying his damnedest to just shit on everything the other commentators say. I mean it's funny and all, but it just seems like the most random thing possible.

Probably just testing the waters for something down the road. I have noticed it and it is, if anything, entertaining with that particular 3 man booth on Smackdown.

Since Michael Cole is no longer a super-heel, Mathews is probably just trying to infuse some tension to the SmackDown commentary team. Or he's being told to. I think they should have Cole taken off SmackDown. Let him stick to RAW and Main Event. Josh Mathews can work with JBL on SmackDown and JBL can work SmackDown, RAW and Main Event, since he's the best thing ever.

I haven't really noticed anything like this. Any particular examples?

A really out of place one was when he was talking about Kaitlyn's secret admirer and he said that it must be someone ugly because only ugly people need to stay a secret. JBL was then hilarious and after some awkward dialogue between the group said something like "So it's you," "Did you even listen to what I said?" "Yes, you said that the admirer is ugly and has no friends. It's you." Cole spat out his sauce and then Mathews said "...I didn't say they had no friends."

Prior to Extreme Rules Mathews also asserted that it was almost certain Ryback would become the WWE Champion. Cole played "Cena-defender" and said the usual about Cena never giving up and having beaten tougher. Mathews then essentially went "Blah, blah, blah! Cena, Cena, Cena! We all get you love the guy, everybody loves the guy, well he's going to lose!" It was actually pretty awesome, but kind of out of place.

Haven't seen Josh Matthews or care to see him, he's a donkey raping, shit-eating Uncle Fucka
