Ordering Judgment Day?

Poll coming...

Loose Cannon 05-13-2004 09:56 PM

No fk'n way.

Goldbird 05-13-2004 10:02 PM

hell no

ilt_undertaker 05-13-2004 10:18 PM

I'll get a tape of it Tuesday and watch The Undertaker's match :)

MVP 05-13-2004 10:26 PM

I'll laugh if anyone says yes.

John la Rock 05-13-2004 10:49 PM

damn right I'm ordering it,

nah just kidding OH HELL NO!!!

Bazooka 05-13-2004 10:53 PM

Be watching it for free :shifty: So ordering it is irrelevant.

Kane Knight 05-13-2004 10:53 PM

Yes.

Byyes, I mean no.

Loose Cannon 05-13-2004 10:58 PM

Hey CyNick, when Mordecai comes out can you like put your TV on a web cast type of thing? lol.

Nowhere Man 05-13-2004 11:22 PM

You just know they're going to use this as "proof" that Eddie can't draw as champ.

And there is no way in hell you'd get me to watch that PPV. I don't care if you're holding a gun to my head; one look at the card and I'll pull the trigger myself.

Innovator 05-13-2004 11:36 PM

im ordering it, becuase A) i haven't been able to watch most programming due to being at school, and b) to support Eddie

Innovator 05-13-2004 11:37 PM

wait is Chavo vs. Jackie on there, cause i can wait till RAW to start watching again

Kane Knight 05-13-2004 11:37 PM

I consider my not ordering it to be support of Eddie. I'll buy it when he's main eventing with someone worth a fu</>ck.

OssMan 05-13-2004 11:53 PM

VOTE, DON'T JUST REPLY

Wildcat789 05-14-2004 12:04 AM

I am infact getting it because I am a die-hard Undertaker fan. Mordecai also interests me, as his gimmick is totally ill. I gotta support Guerrero too...it's the perfect chance for Vince to tell Eddie that he can't draw as a champion, when (in MY opinion) he gives more credibility to the belt than Lesnar did. Not that Lesnar wasn't the man, but Guerrero has a certain aura to him that makes the fans go nuts just when you look at the guy.

Loose Cannon 05-14-2004 12:06 AM

Ive been caught in a web of lies

Nah I'm not ordering (I dont order any PPVs), I was just hoping it would be like 30-1, but now someone else voted yes, so the joke isn't funny anymore.

ItsTimeForAChange 05-14-2004 01:27 AM

**** no. I was considering it, as I wanted to see the Book vs Taker match, and I'm really digging Dupree, and I'm pretty certain they're going to put the US title on him. (Think of the heat a french heel will get being US champion) But after reading JBLs comment on internet fans, I'm not buying it in hopes that the buyrates will be so pathetic that the WWE will fire his punk ass. (unlikely, I know, but I still want that bitch to know he sucks).

Nark Order 05-14-2004 02:11 AM

Hell no, JBL can lick my skinny white ass

I don't have cable, but I wouldn't order it anyway. They've built up three feuds: Eddie/JBL, Booker/Taker, and Cena/Dupree. The rest of the card is literally thrown together. Dawn vs Torrie? No backstory except that they had a match. And they didn't even gimmick it, which could have been the only way to save it. Rico and Charlie vs Gunn and Holly? Where the hell did THAT come from? Chavo vs Jackie has basically ten days of build up and is completely stupid.

They've totally forgotten about Mark Jindrak, who could have made an impact, and if they're gonna just throw filler matches, at least give us good matches like, say, Paul London vs Akio.

But no, instead, they have a PPV that (to quote Cynick, I think) will probably churn out the lowest buyrates in history.

And knowing Vince, he'll do something stupid and blame it on Eddie, not his "fantastic creation, JBL." :(

So how's it feel to pay no money whatsoever for it and still get ripped off?

I mean, seriously, is there one solitary match on that card even worth bothering with? Voodoo Booker T against Zombie Doc Holliday? Jacqueline in the Cruiserweight Title match, AS THE CHAMPION, with Chavo's arm tied behind his back? F</>ucking BRADSHAW in the WWE Title match?

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll watch some old tapes of WCW instead. At least when their show went down the tubes for good, they didn't have the even crappier member of the Acolytes as the top heel. I'd rather be stuffed in a burlap sack, hung from a tree, and smacked around like a pinata, than watch that lazy, sloppy, boring asshole main event with a world-class performer like Eddie.

darkpower 05-14-2004 04:28 AM

I don't know. They might make it somewhat watchable (I've always been an Undertaker mark, and he's on it against Booker T), and the undercard seems to be interesting, even though it was put together at the last minute (I can't order it because I have to work that night, so my opinion might not matter one way or the other). I like the Dupree/Cena match and how it's coming about. And now they got the emotion thing with Eddie vs JBL, and we ALL know how well Eddie can work with ANYONE. I wouldn't be surprised if they somehow get this into a decent PPV, though I'm going out on a limb here.

Kazara 05-14-2004 04:33 AM

Meh, I order them all.

I have a protest going about HHH getting out of main events. I thought it would be a 8-10 month deal, but were closing in on 2 years now.

Getting it for free so no

Blue Demon 05-14-2004 04:07 PM

no, it doesn't seem worth it.

Head 05-14-2004 04:10 PM

Of course I am.

Survivor Series always turns out to be awesome.

Head 05-14-2004 04:10 PM

Oh, it said Judgment Day.

That changes everything.

darkpower 05-15-2004 04:09 AM

Well, remember that last year, Judgment Day seemed like the throwaway PPV for the WWE, and it seems like they have a long streak of below-average Judgment Day programs. Be honest, when was the last time you heard of any Judgment Day PPV being just plain PHENOMINAL, or even good, for that matter?

Boondock Saint 05-15-2004 05:18 AM

**** no

Tornado 05-15-2004 05:24 AM

If I still had Sky Sports, which I dont, i'd be getting it for free, but I still wouldnt stay up till near 4am watching the stink-fest that it will be.

The Ravishing One 05-15-2004 04:37 PM

Well its free, so i'll watch it.

The Ravishing One 05-15-2004 04:37 PM

Didn't say i'll be watching it all though:shifty:

tucsonspeed6 05-15-2004 04:39 PM

Chief Wiggum: Yes.....oh wait, I mean no.

Fox 05-16-2004 04:46 PM

Just got my copy of Mick Foley's Greatest Hits and Misses. I figure I'll watch that around 5pm, and I'll get to see 12 5-star matches for $30 instead of 6 shitty matches for $35.
